They looked at me like I was insane, honestly, that's about how I felt. Maybe it's because I survived an attack, maybe it's because my mom is a top rate lawyer, maybe it's because my dad is a general. Whatever excuse I come up with the reality of it is that I just gained a hero complex.

"Are you sure that we should even know this stuff Y/n?" As expected, they had no idea how to respond. That didn't change how they thought about it though. Mom had the curiosity of how we could pull this off. Let's be honest right now, in a world where superpowers are common, I have a few ideas. Not legal ones, but a few. Dad was ready, he probably miss the action he usually had in Iraq and Quebec. Deep down I know they're on board, now I just need something to push them a bit more. "Either way I'm worried for Mr. Ishii." I sighed looking at anything that wasn't my parents. "Yes, perhaps it's best if we hear his story as well." My mom said looking into nothing. 'Mom your a goddamn genius! You just found a way to get yourself on board!' I watched my dad pull out his phone before nodding. "I'll give him a call." 'This is working a little to well.'

In about 2 hours Mr. Ishii had arrived at the hospital with principal Nezu. "We can set up a meeting through the laptop here." Principal Nezu said jumping onto a chair near the bed. "No it's alright I have my own device. Honey why don't you go put it in the car." My dad said smiling. "Huh? Um, Alright?" Your mom grabbed the laptop closing it and walking out of the room. Your dad followed her waving her off before closing the door and frowning. "Where else have you spoke of this?" My dad asked looking to the two other visitors. "Dad?" You looked him up and down. He was in interrogator mode. "The laptop was on. It was listening so tell me, where else did you speak of this?" "I, I don't know where anyone could listen. I didn't even speak about it in the car!"
"Kazuo." Principal Nezu spoke calmly looking at your dad before shaking his head. "This just became a whole lot more complicated." He said looking at you. The doorknob turned letting your mom back into the room. "We will get you and your daughter into protective custody." "What? No way I'm staying!" You shouted. "That's not an option." Your dad said shaking his head. "Like hell it ain't!" "Y/n!" You looked at your father in shock, hell, all of you did. "Enough Y/n. You can't even stand, for the past 2 weeks you have been through hell and I'm not about to let that continue." He said walking to face you by standing in front of the bed.

'He's right. I'm probably dead weight in this situation. No, this is bullshit. I don't care if I lose my arm, I don't care if I lose mind. I'm seeing this one through.' Pushing the covers off your body you pulled your legs up pushing them over the side of the bed. The painkillers made your body heavy. Pushing yourself up with your more stable arm you stood trying to balance yourself. Finally getting your balance back you looked at your dad. "Respectfully, shut the fuck up." "Y/n!" Your mother yelled. "I don't care if you're military, I don't care if you're the president, I don't care if you're God. I will spite God if I have to but I am not leaving this one. Whoever was listening already has a game plan now we need to make our own and figure out theirs." You said looking into your father's eyes. "This can go as long as you want but it's gonna do nothing but waste our time."
