Kim Ah Ra's POV

It has already been three hours since the party started. Every person present looks like they are having a lot of fun.

The sound of music playing followed by the muffled sound of people talking and laughing could be heard in any corner of the backyard as well as the inside of the house.

As for me, I am enjoying the party as well. But there's a slight problem and it's just that I need to rest for a while.

But I don't think that it would be wise to leave my bestie behind. I thought to myself as I glanced at her standing beside me.

"Ah Ra? I'll be there. The photographer asked me to click a couple of solo photos." Eun Seol said. I nodded and she walked over the other side.

The thought of a bed, again crossed my mind. But, I can't do that! God, I've been standing on my feet since morning.. or more like afternoon. And my back freakin' hurts!

'Get a hold of yourself, Ah Ra!' said my inner voice.

I just realised that I was zoning out when I got goosebumps on my arms all of a sudden and felt a presence beside me. Someone cleared his throat. My eyes looked up at the presence and quickly regretted the decision of looking up!

It's a man, a disgusting one at that. Min Su Ho. Let me explain. His presence is not very appealing, if I'm being honest. He spread a rumour; a month ago that we were dating and that I approached him first. Ridiculous! And it literally circulated on the media! Which, by the way is not right for my family's reputation! Why, you ask? Because:

1. The truth is completely opposite.
2. I would never, and when I say never; it actually means that I would never ever in my life approach a guy first and him? No chance at all.
3. He is not my type.
4. The companies of our father's are rivals. And big one's at that!

"Fancy seeing you, Ah Ra. You look gorgeous."He said and gave me one of his signature coquettish look.

"Oh, is it?" I said in a sarcastic tone "it's completely the opposite for me, though."

"Oh, really? I thought you wanted to talk to me when you sent those lovely daggers through your pretty eyes when I was standing right over there." He said while pointing his index finger at the table beside the pool which was across my table.

Wait- what? I didn't even knew he was invited and when did I even lay my eyes on hi.. uh-oh. It's most probably when I was zoning out.

'Stupid! Stupid girl!' Said my inner voice.

"Not really. I don't think you understood. They were clearly extra sharp deathly daggers." I replied and emphasised on 'deathly'.

"Oh c'mon! You can agree when no one's around that you couldn't resist me today."

What the actual-! God! The nerve of him! Ugh!

I gave him one of my sweetest and sarcastic looks and replied in a more sarcastic and sweet voice: "I think you're hallucinating. It's not quite good for your health."

"Oh are you caring for my health now?"

I regretted saying that. I regretted saying that more than anything. God save him before I knock out his guts in one go with my knees targeting his weak part.

I seriously don't have the energy to deal with him right now so I just gave him a terse reply.

"No." And started walking away. I could feel his eyes on my back as I walked to the back door to go inside the house.
