Izuku: The Quest of the Quirkless

Exam Day

[Izuku POV]

I stared at the entrance to UA. I was terrified at the very least, but this was my dream school, so I'll do my best!!

I walked past the entrance, determined to pass. I can do this!! Becoming a hero!!

I tripped over my own feet.

Or I'll just die!!

I felt something touch my back and I stopped falling. I stared at the ground in confusion. Is the world playing a prank on me? I heard a giggle.

"Are you okay?"

Wait...

The person righted me and my eyes widened.

"I'm sorry I didn't ask permission first, but it would be bad luck if you fell before the exam started, right?" Uraraka asked me.

"Uh..." My mouth suddenly got really dry. Uraraka looked at me curiously.

"Are you okay? Do ya need water or anything else?" she asked, worriedly, her face getting closer to mine. My face started to burn.

"I-I-I'M OKAY, URARAKA!!!!" I exclaimed, flustered from how close we were. "I-I'm just a little nervous..."

"You're totally right!!"

I looked at her in surprise. She just agreed with me?!

"But, we'll do our best and, hopefully, get in the same class!!" Uraraka exclaimed, pumping her first into the air and a bright smile on her face. I smiled.

"Yeah... Hopefully we will..." Uraraka giggled and looked at me mischievously. I gulped. What is she planning?!

"RACE YA TO THE TOP OF THE STAIRS!!!!" she shouted and started running towards the doors. I stared at her retreating figure for a minute before realizing that I was going to lose and sprinted after her.

In the end...

After the written exams...

I was double checking my support gear as Present Mic was explaining what the practical exam was going to look like. He was just reciting what was in the pamphlet we got before this, so I was pretty much set on the rules and point systems.

"EXCUSE ME, MR. PRESENT MIC!!!!"

I looked up behind me to see a blue-haired guy with glasses standing straight up with his hand in the air.

"YES, LITTLE LISTENER?!" Present Mic motioned for the blue-haired guy to proceed.

"IT IS CLEARLY SHOWN IN THE PAMPHLET WE ALL GOT THAT THERE ARE 4 ROBOTS!!!! BUT YOU ONLY MENTIONED 3!!!! THIS IS VERY SHAMEFUL OF SUCH A PRESTIGIOUS SCHOOL SUCH AS UA TO MAKE THIS KIND OF MISTAKE!!!! AND THE ASH BLOND MAN WHO HAS HIS FEET ON THE DESK TOP, IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY LIKE THE REST OF US, THEN YOU CAN LEAVE!!!!"

"I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GET TO THE 4TH ROBOT!!!! THANKS, LITTLE LISTENER!!!! THE 4TH ROBOT IS 0 POINTS, SO JUST AVOID IT!!!! NOW, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR EXAMS!!!!"

I repacked my support gear and headed to the van that will take me to the exam area. I'm so nervous!! There's a lot of people here!!

After we got off the van, I strapped my backpack tightly around me so it wouldn't fall off while I'm destroying robots. I took a deep breath and stared at the tall gates that would open to the fake city. Wait... exactly how much money does UA get to be able to rebuild all of these fake cities and training grounds?!
