second encounter

my best friend sage is having a birthday party later today
i get ready as i hear my phone ring
"hello?" i say waiting for w answer
the line disconnects as i wonder could it be jamie
i dont know why im thinking about him
i just cant stop
i continue getting ready as the thought of jamie roams around my head

i get done getting ready and i call the uber to come pick me up

i enter the party as there our farmilier faces all around
i catch up with some friends and one of them says
"y/n jamie keeps staring at you"
i look over praying that its him... and it is
i look away quickly as i fix my hair
"should i go over to him?" i ask my friend
"yes girl do it" sage replys
i take a deep breath and head over to him
"ahh jamie bower we meet again" i say trying to act confident
"hello y/n"
"hey what are you doing here" i ask confused, sage has never mentioned him?
"sage is a family friend of mine so me and my brother came"
"oh cool, well i already said hi to everyone so do you wanna get out of here"
"and go where?" he asks
