"Peter!"

You grab at his wrist, trying to pry him off the tile wall.

His eyes snap open. He's pleading for help as he continues to squall in pain. You watch as he starts to have trouble breathing. Peter looks at you with intense desperation; he's practically yelling at you to let him free, to stop this pain surging throughout his entire body.

You're putting all your strength on pulling his entire weight, but it's no use. 011's pressure is unfathomably strong. Peter notices.

He acknowledges your fatal attempts, watching you. He takes notice of the fact that there are literal tears rolling down your face. Your grip on his wrist is getting tighter and tighter by the second.

"S-Stop," Peter yells.

You stare into his eyes, and it's filled with regret and sorrow. They're slightly teary as he consistently winces in stinging pain. You shake your head at him, but he only keeps screaming at you to stop.

"Y/n, you h-have.. to let go!" he demands.

He's basically biting at his words as he tries to convince you to let go of his wrists.

"I can't just leave you like this without trying to help you!" you counter back. Peter is looking down at you, extremely appalled yet frustrated with how hard you're trying.

"Look, I get you're just trying to make yourself feel better, but this isn't the t-time to play hero, Y/n. I'm telling you to let go, so let go!"

Your grip immediately loosens, and your jaw slackens as you continue to stare at him. His gaze is completely indifferent, harsh, and odious.

You shake your head in disbelief and continue to try to pull him off.

"You don't mean that," you weakly say.

Peter's brows furrow even more, teeth bearing. His audible agony gets louder as the hole inside of him starts spreading.

"D-Do you think I have the energy to m-make jokes right now!? God, you truly are an i-idiot. There's no point in s-saving me, Y/n. Get a hold of logic and let go!" Peter argues. He stops looking at you—now closing his eyes to try to ignore the pain.

"What.. do you mean there's no point?"

You're no longer crying as you're just completely frustrated at this point. You're trying to save this guy, and he's being so repellent and defensive for no reason.

"I'm a killer—an A-ACTUAL psychopath! What's the p-point of saving such a dangerous p-person!?" he gratingly criticizes.

You scoff.

"What's the point!?"

Peter's body is almost completely made up of yellow light.

"You're so STUPID, Peter. Of course there's a point in all of this," you move your hands so they're now on his lit up chest,

"I'm trying to save you BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!"

You're shocked by your sudden confession, and so is Peter as opens his eyes again to look at you.

Though, panic quickly fills his gaze.

"Y/n, l-let go right n-now!" he warns. There's fear in his voice.

"Why?" you pry. Your hands are still on his chest, or what should be his chest if it weren't for the light matter appearing. You might as well spend his last minutes with a gentle touch from you.

"Look at y-yourself, Y/n!"

Your hands.

The light is eating them up, like a fast virus.

It's spreading to your body, and now that Peter points it out, you feel the searing pain. It hurts. It hurts really bad, but you don't want to show it.

You step even closer to Peter, and his eyes widen.

"H-Honey, please, let go," he pleads.

You give him a smile.

"I'd rather stay with you."

You lean in and connect your lips with his.

The kiss is hungry and passionate, and Peter can feel your tears against his own skin.

You feel a sudden shift in levels, like you're falling, but you continue to kiss Peter. His hands quickly wrap around your waist, making sure that your body stays with his as you fall. This falling sensation is equivalent to the drop of a roller coast as your stomach twists and knots.

You two part, needing to breathe as you rest your forehead on his. You cup his face with your hand as you watch a single tear roll down to his chin. You're so focused on the man in front of you that you don't realize the completely new world that you're transported in.

"I'm sorry," he whispers.

You respond by pulling him into a tight and comforting hug right before the lightning hits the both of you.

You've never felt this much pain before. Your ears are ringing. You're burning yet gaining an intense amount of energy. It's almost as if a horse had hit you in the back of the head. It's like you're inside a bass speaker as you feel your body vibrate within itself. You and Peter scream in pain as the Upside Down welcomes you two in its own twisted ways.

Peter moves your body in a way that his is completely covering yours. It's almost as if he's trying to protect you from the lightning, but it's useless as the pain spreads to both of your connected bodies.

You never thought you'd leave the world like this.

Embracing with the man that you love as you fall deeper and deeper

in the Upside Down.
