Song:- Six Feet Under.
******************************
"Krish bhai is not Udhav Singh Rajvansh's child..."
The words hung in the air like a death sentence. Cold. Final. Irreversible.
And then—
CRASH.
The sound of glass exploding against marble made her flinch. Anaya jumped, instinctively turning back toward the source. Her breath caught.
Arjun stood there—his chest heaving, face shadowed in fury, sweat beading on his brow. The broken vase lay shattered across the floor, water soaking into the carpet. The fragments glittered around his feet like fallen stars—each one reflecting the man who looked like he'd just torn open his soul.
And he had.
He looked possessed. Ravaged.
And utterly alone.
Anaya didn't move. Couldn't.
She watched him lower himself onto the edge of the bed, elbows resting on his knees, face buried in his hands.
His silence was louder than any scream.
For a moment, the only sound in the room was the ticking of the clock—and the echo of his unraveling.
She clutched the doorknob behind her. Her pulse was frantic.
Is this another game?
Another layer in the web of manipulation she'd been tangled in for years?
He's a master manipulator. That voice in her head reminded her. You know it. You've lived it.
But then... she saw it.
Not just the fury.
Not just the devastation.
But the weight. The unbearable, soul-wrenching weight of secrets that had consumed him for too long.
"W-what...?" she managed to whisper, barely recognizing her own voice.
Arjun didn't lift his head.
She stared at him—his jaw clenched, body trembling with rage. There was no mask this time. No calculated façade. Just a man—raw, ruined, ruined by his own choices.
Her throat tightened.
He wasn't like this for anyone. He never showed this side. Not to his family. Not to the world. Not even to himself.
Only to her.
And that's what made it dangerous.
"Your father?" she whispered again, the words foreign on her tongue.
Arjun looked up slowly, his eyes shadowed, dark. Haunted.
"A royal sick manipulator," he spat, his voice venom-laced. "A man who built empires by playing gods with people's lives. He wanted complete control of me... and when you came into my life, he panicked."
Anaya's heart skipped a beat.
"He saw it. How I changed. How you made me feel. That was the threat. Not you. Not your name. Your effect on me."
He rose from the bed, pacing like a caged predator.
"When I started questioning him... pushing back... it scared him. I was no longer the obedient Rajvansh prince. I wasn't his puppet anymore."
