Chapter 3

Natasha's POV:

It has been 1 day since I found Kat and she hasn't left my side, I love that I have found my baby girl again.

I woke up to Kat laying on her side while her head was on my chest as she was sleeping peaceful.

I smile at my 2 year old daughter as she drools onto my t-shirt making me laugh slightly.

"Mama?"She asks as her eyes flutter open, she lifts her head and looks up to me.

"Yes baby it's me mama"I whisper and kiss her little button nose.

"Are you hungry?"I ask her and she nods her head just as there is a knock on the door.

"Who is it?"I ask and Bruce walks in.

"Hey it's me, I was just wondering if you wanted to try something"He suggests and I nod my head for him to continue.

"So since your daughter hasn't been fed properly in just under a year I was wondering if you wanted to try and use these lactation pills so that she will get all the nutrients she needs but this will only be until she is 3 years old"Bruce suggests and I think for a second.

"Actually that would be great thanks, when do I have to take them?"I ask him and he hands me the box of pills.

"You have to take one in the morning and at night"Bruce tells me and I nod my head.

"How long until they kick in?"I ask him.

"Well they only take 2 minutes after you take them but you have two different pills, one for the day which will last until 12am and then you take the ones for night which will build up more milk overnight for your daughter to have in the morning"Bruce tells me and I nod and thank him.

He tells me I can take one now if I want so I grab a glass of water from that side table and take the pill and wait two minutes for it to kick in.

"You want some of mama's milk?"I ask my daughter and her nods her head smiling, I put her in the cradling position and take my top and bra off so she can latch on.

Her suckle is quite weak so I squeeze my boob to get more milk out of it.

She suckles as fast as she can and I have to tell her to slow down or she will choke.

"Baby slow down mama isn't going anywhere, you have all the milk you want"I whisper and her suckle slows and she is moving at a slow and relaxing pace.

I sigh and stroke her hair while looking down at her beautiful emerald green eyes.

She is just so adorable and beautiful and I'm happy I found her but also feel bad that she had to endure a whole year of pain.

"That's it baby, nice and slow"I whisper and just sit there and admire my little girl.

"Hey Nat"Clint says as he walks in taking me out of my trance.

"Oh hey Clint"I say looking at him smiling slightly.

"Don't worry I'm not looking, I've seen it before as well so don't be ashamed or anything"He says reassuring me as he can see my face with worry.

"Okay"I say smiling.

"How come you came in here?"I ask him and he sighs.

"I wanted to see how you are doing now that you have your cute little daughter back"Clint says leaning back into the chair he has sat on.

"I'm doing great now that I have found her but what was happening to her was awful, a fully awake toddler getting surgery and then being stitched back up like how horrifying and disgusting is that?"I say getting angry at the thought of seeing her in pain.

"Hey Nat calm down, that doesn't matter anymore because she is here and safe with you"Clint says leaning forward and rubbing my arm.

"See that's the problem, the last time she was with me she taken straight out of my arms and I couldn't do anything about it"I say looking back down at my daughter.

"She is only 2 years old, 2 and has been through more pain any person receives in half their life"I say with tears coming down my cheeks looking down at Kat.

"No mama, no cry"Kat says as she latches off and wipes my tears away making me smile.

"Thank you baby, mama's not sad anymore, no more crying from me"I say and gently push her head back to my boob and she latches on again and suckles at the same pace as before making me calm feeling her on my skin.

"She really is like you, she is a fighter, she cares for the people she loves, she looks exactly like you and she is the sweetest person I know"Clint says and this makes me smile even more than before.

"Thank you Clint, really thank you. When you found me at the end of last year you really saved me and bringing me to SHIELD was the best thing ever because I would've never have found her if it wasn't for you"I say smiling and he smiles and rubs me arm.

"You don't need to thank me Nat, you were the one who found her and I know even if I didn't find you, you still would've found her because you wouldn't have stopped looking for her like you didn't stop looking for ever since you escaped"Clint says and I smile at him.

I just know him and Katerina will get along great and so will Kat and Lila, they will be the best cousins ever.
