For the next few moments, they sat there in silent with their drinks in their hands. On opposite ends of the couch and a vast space of longing and lust. After the other night, they hadn't exactly been intimate like that. They hadn't even talked about it. What it meant for both of them or if there were any regrets from either sides.

But right then in that moment, when they looked into each other's eyes and everything stopped, when the world just stopped spinning, it was just them. Alone.

Lena had to suck in a sharp gust of air when Kara moved to sit closer to her on the couch.

Like so close that their knees touched and a Lena could practically combust at the feeling of Kara's hands brushing against her kneecap.

"I want to kiss you so bad" Kara whispered into the air between them.

"I want to -" the blonde cut herself off by reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind Lena's ear. "I can't stop thinking about the other night" Kara said, her fingers lingering against the Luthor's cheek.

Lena's eyes shot up to find Kara gazing at her, blue eyes darker, visible even in the dark.

"I've wanted to kiss you the moment I got here" the Kryptonian confessed.

Closing her eyes, Lena concentrated on the feeling of Kara's thumb brushing over her cheek.

She felt intoxicated. Like her head was very foggy and she couldn't particularly think.

So I'm gonna love you now, like it's all I have

I know it'll kill me when it's over

I don't wanna think about it, I want you to love me now

"Kara" Lena pronounced.

"Yeah?"

Lena opened her eyes to see Kara holding her breath like whatever the Luthor was going to say was a matter of life and death.

Before she could say whatever was on her mind, Lena leaned forward to place her lips on Kara's.

Before she knew it, Lena was grinding herself against the Kryptonian. Kissing her like her life depended on it.

"Kara?"

"Mmh?"

"Bedroom" Lena uttered refusing to let go of Kara's lips.

Before she knew it, she was on her back, on her bed and Kara was on top of her.

I know it'll kill me when it's over
