JANVI POV

Janvi! My mom yelled at me from downstairs.

Yes, MA! I am coming.

I am a senior at Medical College.
I am the only daughter of my parents. My father is a engineer and my mother is a fashion designer. I came from a wealthy family. Usually my parents don't come home due to their job. But I
am okay with it because I understand them. My parents love me a lot infact they treat me as a princess. I am still single. All of my friends have boyfriends.
Usually a lot of boys proposed me but I rejected them. Because I am still not ready.
I am beautiful and I am full of confidence.
People call me socialbee.

Today is my graduation day and this is the day I have been waiting for. Today I would get MBBS degree. I would be eligible to be a doctor. I have shed blood, sweat and tears for the past 24 years. Yes, I am 24 years old.

After I applied my Lipgloss I went down stairs to greet my MA and Papa. Today I wore a tight fitted pink short knee length dress with white high heels (refer the above pic)
I have my black hair curled and left it open till my waist. I have a porcelain skin with rosy cheeks. I have light brown eyes with long eyelashes.

I went downstairs and touched their feet to take their blessings.

"Sada sukhi raho beta" said my papa. (Always be happy).

" Jug Jug jeeyo" said my MA. (live a long life).

I quickly finished my breakfast, said bye to my parents and drove off in my Lamborghini.

I reached my university and parked my car in parking area.
When I got down the car I was greeted by my friend,Trisha.
Trisha is my childhood friend for 18 years.

I entered the auditorium and heard several gasp. Soon I was surrounded by my classmates whose face I don't even remember. They started complimenting me as usual. I started walking in a fast pace dragging Trisha alone. I sat in a front row besides my professors. And Trisha in a second row.
I am a outstanding student and topped 1st in whole nation. I was excited to get my MBBS degree.
Suddenly all the chattering stopped when the principal Came to podium. He began to give his introduction.

"Today there will be a special guest to hand over your degrees. It's our pleasure to have him hand over ur degrees. A big round of applause for Mr. Aman mehta". Said the principal.

Soon there was a round of applause but I didn't even raise my hand because I was dumbstruck.
Because the name sounds so familiar. It was my childhood friend, Aman mehta.
Me, Trisha and Aman were childhood friends. But he suddenly disappeared when I was 17. I hope it is him. I was staring at the curtains in the stage. Soon the curtain flew open and it was him! Yes! It is him!. I turned my head and saw Trisha even her mouth was open like a dead fish. I turned my gaze bag and my breath hitched. Because he was staring at me. We made eye contact but he slightly smiled at me and turned his gaze at the mic.

I am surprised, confused, angry and excited.
Surprised because he is suddenly back.
Confused because why is he here?
Angry because he left without informing me.
Excited because Aman is back.

Through his speech I came to know he is a CEO of mehta group. The famous group in whole nation and ranks 2nd globally. It's strange that he is a CEO, when he was passionate about becoming a surgeon.

Now the principal started calling names to come forward and receive degree from Aman

"Mrs janvi sharma, I request you to come and receive your MBBS degree". Announced the principal.
Soon I heard a round of applause. I went to the stage and stood in front of aman. Aman was still staring at me. I too stared at him. We were having a staring contest. I was staring at him and was demanding answer. But his stare was too intense I had to blink my eyes few times. The auditorium was dead silent. Not even a whispering could be heard. This was awkward so I turned my gaze away. The principal coughed a few times to turn his attention to him. He finally held the degree in his hand and handed me. But while handing me the degree, he held my hand into his. I too clutched his hand Hard punishing him for leaving me. I finally shook his hand away. When I looked up he winked at me, I chuckled remembering the old Aman would do too. I then returned to my seat and then was confused because he left. Left? What about the other students? Everyone started whispering. Soon the situation was handled by the principal and the degree was distributed by the principal.
When everything was over, Trisha came to me and her face was filled with concern. I asked her the reason and she dodged the question and smiled.
I then returned to my home not knowing what was waiting me at home.
After that day my life would be not the same.
My life would never be the same.
