Love has no limits

Four.

- 3 days later, Wednesday, 6pm-

For the first time all week, Stefania came home from work in a good mood as she didn't have any negative events happen that could potentially put her in a terrible mood like what happened on Monday and Tuesday.

Since waking up next to Danielle on Sunday morning, Stef realised that Dani was being a lot more distanced and barely talking to her and it made her quite sad. They both were very busy with work, leaving Stefania with no choice but to ignore the pain in her chest everytime she thought about Danielle, and the fact that she couldn't see her right now. She was continuously going through every single conversation they had and tried to figure out what she could've done to cause Danielle to push her away. The fact that she couldn't think of anything hurt her even more, Danielle was absolutely everything to her and the thought of Dani not wanting to speak to her anymore genuinely petrified her.

Stefania was sat on her sofa, cuddling one of her blankets while watching something random on tv, although she had no clue what it was because all she could think about was the blonde that she wanted nothing more than to cuddle with. She didnt realise how much Danielle meant to her, until the thought of not having her as a close friend anymore made her feel like her heart was gonna stop. Lost in her thoughts, she layed down with her blanket and just cried, she reminded herself of how comforting Danielle was when she was upset just a few days ago, but she regretted that as it only made her cry more, as she was still desperately yearning for the blondes touch. Nothing could soothe her the way Dani did and therefore she had no choice but to get everything out as she cried, knowing trying to stop herself from letting anymore out would be useless

After about 10 minutes Stefania managed to calm herself down and just relax, eventually falling asleep because she tired herself out.

Danielle on the other hand, just like the previous two nights, could not stop her mind from racing at a million miles per hour, with a specific brunette in mind. She didnt mean to stop talking to Stefania for so long, she was just trying to sort out how she felt, but in the meantime she ended up unintentionally ghosting her best friend. The guilt from how Stef must feel was absolutely eating her alive, but she couldn't bring herself to go and speak to her because she didn't wanna face Stefs likely bad reaction.

She turned to the one person she knew would give her the kick up the ass that she definitely needed and decided to call Barrett. "Hey" she spoke quietly when the facetime connected.  "Babe whats wrong? Are you okay?" The curly haired woman asked, immediately picking up on Dani struggling without her even having to say the word. "Can I please come over if you're not busy? I could do with seeing you in person" the blonde eventually replied, trying to not let her emotions overwhelm her. "Of course you can, i'm not busy dont worry get your butt over here!" Dani chuckled at the last line and they eventually ended the call so that the blonde could get ready to head to Barretts house.

About 25 minutes later Dani pulled up into Barretts driveway and once she turned off her car, just let out a massive breath that she didnt even realise she was holding. She grabbed nothing but her keys and phone and headed up to the door. After taking a few deep breaths she knocked on the door, bracing herself because she knew she was gonna have to quite literally wear her heart out on her sleeve right now and it scared her more than she'd like to admit. Barrett opened up the door and straight away, without saying anything, brought Danielle into a big loving cuddle. They were hugging each other for atleast a minute before Barrett heard sniffles coming from the blonde in her arms, and she was concerned because Dani is a tough nut to crack, not the type to break down on your shoulder. "Hey hey its okay let me just shut the door" Barrett whispered before letting go of Danielle.
