Earlier that day..

"You are always finding exuses to leave early or sack off with the job half done! I'm tired of it Danielle!!" Natalie screamed from behind her desk. "Thats bullcrap and you know it! I go above and beyond for this place and nothing I ever do is even slightly acknowledged! You're the one doing your job half done, all you do is sit around screaming at everyone in here, and expect us to kiss your ass!" Dani replied with just as much rage, despite the crippling pain she was already in.

This argument had been going on for almost 10 minutes and all the other workers were definitely tired of the constant raised voices. Danielle simply requested the afternoon off as she was clearly in excruciating pain and couldn't stay at work anymore, but her boss, Natalie just wasn't having it, and used every exuse under the sun as to why the blonde was just 'trying to get out of doing her work.'

And so the yelling continued.
"You have NO business talking to me like that! The amount of disrespect you continuously show me is outrageous! You are on thin ice lady. Thin thin ice. You're one wrong move away from being jobless!" The boss continued shouting. "Why do you think it's acceptable to be this horrible? You make this place such a negative work environment and everyone knows it." Danielle replied, in a much quieter and calm tone. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I work my ass off for this place and I certainly don't wanna waste my time on people like you! You're lazy and useless! Nothing but a shameful f@ggot! I am TIRED of you!" Natalie exploded, completely shocking and hurting Dani.

"Who do I think I am?? Who do you think YOU are?? You make me sick and I've never met anyone like you. You know what enough! I'm done working under you anyway it's depressing and you are a heartless wretch! I quit, hope you're real happy now!" the blonde screamed in her now ex-boss' face.

And with that, she collected those of her belongings that were important to her, and stormed out of the library, her eyes filled with rage fuelled tears as she reached her car.

Stefania couldn't believe what Danielle told her and everything her old boss said to her. She was so angry and wanted to just scream. "Bella you know you can get her in serious trouble? Like verbal abuse or harassment or something like that? She deserves to get in trouble thats not acceptable at all." She said to the blonde.

Still trying to ignore the pain in her stomach, Dani replied: "I know I should get her in trouble for it but I just dont have the energy to go through a whole legal process over it, I'd rather just never go back and try to forget about it." Stefania stood up and sat next to Danielle on the couch and just hugged her as well as she could without hurting her. "Okay if thats what you want" the brunette whispered. Danielle was so tired that she just slumped into Stefanias arms and tried to hold back the tears in her eyes, as she was also extremely tired of crying. She was also so exausted that she didnt realise that she was falling asleep on Stefania.

The Italian looked down when she felt Dani's body fully slump onto her and heard her breathing even out. She noticed that the younger woman was asleep and just ran her hand through her blonde hair, knowing she always loved it. Stefania couldn't help the tears that fell down her face after everything she just witnessed, first seeing Danielle in so much pain and in that broken state, then hearing about the abuse she got at work just made her so upset. She really did deeply care for the blonde, and seeing her so beaten down and helpless literally shattered her heart. After about 15 minutes of purely getting lost in her thoughts, Stef too ended up falling asleep.
