(Izuku's Pov/ Present)

Ow, shit it hurts. (Laying on the ground in pain) Heh, this reminds me of that day. I was cold, wet, hurt, lost and in darkness back then too. Though, I think I'd take this moment over that day anytime, since this isn't the first time I've blacked out from injury before. Yup, I definitely prefer this mor-...

It is a cold, dark, and dreary night out. Only one person can be found out and about on this night at 1:27 am. Izuku Midoriya, a boy dressed in a now dirty All Might shirt, black shorts and red shoes. He is wandering the street, crossing from alleyways to alleyway, hoping to find a person or even someone driving. All while, crying, tired, and in pain. Just wishing that things were different, just wishing that he never went to the doctors this morning. Reliving how it could have all went. Now, what happened you may ask? Earlier that morning Izuku Midoriya was declared Quirkless!

(Earlier that Morning)

Izuku woke up and begged his parents to take him to the quirk doctor. Due to his best friend Katsuki Bakugo a.k.a. 'Kacchan' gaining his quirk two weeks prior, which happened to be explosions. The quirk which allows him to create explosions in his palms, from the friction igniting the nitroglycerin-based sweat that his body produces. But things did not go as planned for the young boy. Izuku waited in the doctor's office for his results, just thinking of all the cool quirks he could get. Maybe he'd get a telekinesis quirk, or a fire breathing quirk like one of his parents. Or maybe even a combination of both of them. Izuku sat there bubbling with excitement, just waiting in his fantasy world. When the doctor finally came in, Izuku and his mother noticed the somber look upon his face. The doctor approached and took a breath before uttering the sentence that crushed Izuku's world.

Quirk Doctor: "I'm sorry to say this, but you do not have a quirk Izuku."

That was the moment that laid down the foundation for how the rest of his life would go. Izuku didn't even remember getting in the car. To be honest the only thing he thought that was positive was, 'Maybe I'll be fine, I still have my parents.' For the rest of the day, everything was fine. Izuku went home and played in his room. Nothing seemed off yet. He even shared dinner with his parents like he normally did. Then sometime around 9 o'clock his parents went up to his room and asked him if he wanted to go shopping with him. Izuku gladly went ahead and got his shoes on, only finding it weird that they are going shopping so late. But in the moment, he never questioned it.

After about an hour or so of driving to another city, Izuku had already fallen asleep. One moment he was in a dream and the next he is in pain. Being woken up from hitting something hard with his whole body.

(Izuku's Pov/Flashback)

All I feel is pain, so I gather myself and open my eyes, trying to shake off the tiredness. I stare up to see the car door and my father in the back where I just was. My mind racing as to what's happening, maybe we got into an accident or something. As I come to my senses, I ask them what's going on.

Izuku: "Mom, dad? What's happening?"

Inko and Hisashi: "Get out of here you Quirkless mistake/ Urgh, can't believe we ever wasted time on you, you're nothing to us now. Don't come back you useless thing, we're not going to be there, don't ever call us like that again. We're no longer your parents!"

I feel my whole world shatter, everything slows down. I watch them pull away through a veil of tears and sobbing motion. After twenty minutes, I finally struggle to get up. Wiping my hands and eyes with my shirt. I make my way to the alley way and use the wall to support myself. I try to think of a way out of my situation. The only thing I can think of, is to find someone and hope they can help me. I set off alley way, by alleyway. Hoping to spot a car or person. I quickly realize that I don't recognize the city at all. My legs hurt and my body is starting to fall apart, becoming so tired. I reach an end of another alley way. I sit on the corner of the alley and just try to keep my eyes open, looking for a person or car anywhere on the street. After about five minutes, as my eyes betray me and have been closing ever more frequently. I see something shining bright down the road.
