A grim reaper is to remain neutral, therefore they are given great power to aid them in their duty. There was a time of great chaos when the powers were abused and neutrality was destroyed; forcing both heaven and hell to resolve the disorder. The powers bestowed upon the producer of said chaos are unknown to even the highest gods, the two who granted her the great abilities. That is due to the fact that power resides in power, a single power can branch into a truly infinite world of possibilities. With that unknown uncertainty of possibilities, the powers produced by the rulers of the universe were truly terrifying.
