"Thank you Daichi for paying for our meal."

We have all but said our goodbyes except Daichi s/n and I.

"It's not a problem, here I'll get the door." Daichi opens the door to the restaurant and i walk out it carrying s/n.

"Thank you again."

Daichi nods "sure thing. Little guys really tired."

I look at s/n who is sleeping on my shoulder.

"Do you mind taking him while I unlocked the car? I need to put our left overs up."

Daichi blinks but nods "S-Sure. He won't wake up?"

I shake my head. "Here." I hand s/n over to Daichi. S/n doesn't stir and tucks his head into Daichis neck. Daichi clearly feels in awe. That feeling when a baby accepts you is really something.

"Wow.. he's so tiny."

I unlock the car with the leftovers in my hand. I giggle at Daichi's comment.

"Compared to you, yes."

I open the passenger side door and place the food in the seat.

"You can put him in his car seat if you want."
Smiling I open the back door. Daichi looks at his car seat and nods.

I can tell he wants to try.

Daichi steps farward and slowly places s/n in his care seat. He stays sound asleep. Daichi slowly backs away.

"Good job officer. Do they cover that in training?"

Daichi rubs the nape of his neck. "Heh no it doesn't. That was nerve wracking."

I buckle s/n in then shut s/n's door and laugh.

"Thank you for helping me with s/n Daichi." I open my door then get inside. I start the car and roll down the window.

"You want me to call you when we get home." I ask him as I buckle my seatbelt.

"Yes, it would put my mind at ease if you would let me escort you."

I blink twice then laugh. "Please don't, we'll be fine!"

Daichi chuckles.

"F/n.. Did Oikawa really leave you and s/n behind?"

I smile softly "He did.. but I think.. if he knew I was really pregnant back then.. he maybe wouldn't have. At least I like to think so.. How do you know Tooru is S/n dad?"

"They look alike, I kind of just took a wild guess. Do you ever plan on telling him?"

I look at Daichi and nod. "One day.. he broke my heart and the worst part is I still hold feelings for him.... I keep having this dream where I'm chasing after Tooru telling how I can't do this alone.."

Daichi rests his elbows on my rolled down window. "I'm here for you, what ever you need. You aren't alone I promise you that."

I feel my heart skip a beat. If only I could let go of Tooru.. then maybe there would be room for Daichi.

"Thank you Daichi. I should head home and get my little prince into bed."

"Ooh yeah probably soo. Don't forget to call me."

I nod "Yes Officer."

Daichi laughs at my comment as I pull out of my parking spot.

Let's head home.
