Chapter 3- Why Luz, Why?

(NO POV- A few hours later)

Amity patiently waited for Luz to be back to normal. She spent the last few hours shouting and screaming at Belos. "Why? Why the titan would you expect Luz to be better? Did you not see what she did to you? She's too fragile to experiment on! We both know humans don't have the magical capability to withstand that amount of power!" Belos' face turned white as Amity slowly turned around. "No magical capabillity, huh Amity..? I guess you're right. Just like how we shouldn't fall in love with witches either." Luz said, coldly. You could tell how hurt she was from Amity's statement. "Luz... I-" Luz snarled, disgusted that Amity tried reasoning her words. "Save it. Just go away. Don't come back." Amity could do nothing but bow her head, letting the tears freefall down her face. "I know I messed up, Luz. I didn't mean it-" "Oh, you didn't mean it! Wow, all forgiven then! That makes me feel so much better that the person I liked would actually think highly of me. Just to go on to say that I have no magical capabillity or that in 'fragile'. I've delt with worse. Belos tried petrifying me. But no, you care too much about yourself to understand that. Leave me alone now, go be the 'Little Miss Perfect' your parents want you to be. Oh wait, they wouldn't care either way!" Luz paused. 'Why did I say that!' She thought. Amity said nothing, she just kept her head down and walked right past Luz. "Ami... I'm so sorry. That wasn't me! It was-" Amity put her hand on Luz's shoulder. "It's okay. I'll just get out of your hair." Luz's tears came streaming out to see the green haired witch walk away. 

Luz got mad. Very mad. Belos was mortified as Luz's body began to change. Her hair grew longer, plus more hair growing on the rest of her body. Her bones began to change shape. Luz couldn't do anything but scream as her body began to twist and churn until finally. She was the beast again. This time however, she wasn't a bear. She became an owl beast, like Eda. She looked at Belos as he was jotting down notes, fascinated. She screeched as she broke the castle's ceiling and flew to Blight Manor. She passed the grom tree her and Amity made as she spotted a familliar witch sat beneath it. It was Amity.

Luz flew down as fast as she could until she crashed into the ground. Amity let out a yelp as the dust from the ground thinned out, revealing the owl beast glaring at her. "Eda..?" Amity pondered. The beast walked closer to Amity, putting out a wing to wipe her tears. Amity now knew it was Luz and sighed. "So, you want me to go away? You want me to never speak to you again? But you just instantly try to find me? I don't understand you, Luz! You get so distant and so cruel, but you then get so sweet and caring? What do you want with me? Are you using me? Are you leading me on? You probably don't understand me! I'm in love with you, Luz! I have been ever since grom! You've shown me kindness no one had ever, apart from Willow but that's besides the point. You were angry at me! I'm angry at you! So save yourself the trouble and leave me alone! You can go find someone else to hurt. If you don't love me, then leave" Amity didn't realise Luz was back in her human form, tears in her eyes. She grabbed Amity's face and softly pressed her lips to the green haired witched. "Amity.. I really like you too. I'm sorry I overreacted.. I'm just so scared. Belos is apparently human, and he says if I help him. He will leave the people I love alone, and he'll help me get back to the human realm. I did it to protect not just Eda and the others. But I did it to protect you Amity. I know you're strong and you could beat Belos. But i've seen what he can do. If he's human, then he's getting help of a powerful witch. I don't want you to get hurt Ami... I'm reall-" Before she could apologise, Amity leaned in and returned the human's kiss. They quickly broke out of it and placed both their foreheads on the other's. They stayed like that for a while, giggling and tears falling as they could hear the other's heart beat.
