Author's pov~

Jin entered the cafe, which was awfully quiet, he looked around to find it empty, when his eyes darted to the couch near the window, a person dressed in all black sipping his beverage, he walked near the counter and asked them whether they were closed, but they answered negatively saying a person was waiting for their friend and had booked the entire cafe, he thanked them and walked over to the person.

"hello, I'm Kim Seokjin, are you Mr. Jeon?" he adressed him formally, since he didn't want to regret anything later on. the said person looked up, but Jin couldn't make out his face since he was wearing a mask and a bucket hat that almost covered his eyes. he motioned for him to have a seat.

Jin sat down opposite to the said male and looked anywhere but him, Jungkook let out a harsh sigh before speaking out, "cancel this marriage, I don't want to marry you" Jin looked at the other male shocked, "I-I-I can't, believe me I r-really can't" Jungkook rested both his elbows on his knees, looking straight at Jin before raising his voice, "I. SAID. CANCEL. THIS. MARRIAGE. DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND?" Jin flinched at the sudden rise of his voice but kept his head facing down nevertheless. Jungkook continued, "If you disobey me, it's wouldn't be pretty for you sweetheart." he tilted his head looking straight at Jin. Jin was cowering in fear but managed to squeak out a small, "i'll try" "great, now get out" Jin didn't take a second before he got up, did a 90 degree bow and scurried out of there.

Jin reached home, he decided to talk to his parents that very night without delaying it any further. he waited in his room until night, and came downstairs when he heard his father coming home, he was nervous, his sweaty hands were shaking, he saw his mother in the kitchen and his father was sitting at the counter. he balled his hands into fists and decided to just go for it.

"mom, dad.. I have something to say.." he started gaining their attention.

"what is it son?" his father raised an eyebrow when he felt his son was nervous.

"I- uh, I don't want to marry Jeon Jungkook" he said, making his parents gasp.

"Jin you're getting married to him no matter what, we have already promised Mr. Jeon and-and we can't take it back." said his father

"but I really don't want to marry him, he's not my type.. let me not get married? please? mom?" he said with tears in his eyes,  he couldn't tell them that Jungkook had threatened him to break off this marriage.

"no Jin, you're going to get married, now go back to your room, I don't want to talk about this!" Jin let his tears fall free and went back to his room without speaking another word.

Jin tried to persuade his parents insisting on breaking off the wedding but they weren't ready to hear another word. now they were getting ready to meet the Jeons and he was terrified of what stunt Jungkook might pull.

"mom p-lease-" "get in the car Kim Seokjin" and he knew there was no way he can break off this wedding.

The dinner went by smoothly, without Jungkook causing a scene, after the said male completed his dinner he excused himself saying he had some stuff to look into and left."

Jin knew this was just a calm before the storm. he was afraid of Jungkook. he knew what he was capable of doing.

it was finally the day, Jin tried his utmost to break off this wedding until morning but, disheartened he knew it was of no use, he heard some harsh words from his parents which broke his heart.

now he was standing in front of the mirror, fixing his tie, when his brother came in. his brother, Kim Taehyung was a well known idol, who went overseas for a project but he came back because of the wedding. he didn't know that Jin didn't want the wedding.

Taehyung cleared his throat gaining the older's attention. he smiled at his hyung, who reciprocated the gesture.

"hyung you look great! I hope you have a great life ahead! I love you so much!" they shared some emotional words and some moments from their childhood.

they both had tears pooling their eyes, before he could comprehend, the older pulled him into a bone crashing hug whispering a soft "I love you"

soon he walked down the aisle with his dad. Jin had a tight grip on his father's arm,  not willing to let go but he made him leave his arm and passed his hand to Jungkook who had a fake smile plastered on his lips.

Jin didn't dare to look up, it wasn't until he heard a low "look up" and he did, to be met with an incredibly attractive and handsome man. the taller male was dressed in a black three piece suit, hair sophisticatedly styled, and a perfect face. Jin was astound and he felt his cheeks warming up. he decided to look away when he met the piercing gaze of his almost husband.
