2 years later.

"These are the new draft sketches that Lana brought in, ma'am. I have now arranged them alphabetically."

"Seokjin, you know I like you so much because of this. Thanks to you, my darling."

"Anytime, ma'am" he retorted.

"Haven't you already put in more than 40 hours this week?"

"Yes ma'am, please," Flustered, Seokjin cast a glance down at his shoes.

"You are free to go now my love, please get back on Monday." Emma gave a quiet grin.

Seokjin took the hint and left, not before passing a thankful smile and a respectful bow. he had been working late nights every day the past week, and he was exhausted.

Since Seokjin signed the divorce documents that day, it has been a little over two years. the day he packed his things and formally said goodbye to Jungkook forever. though, forever? Even Seokjin wasn't aware of how powerful the term "forever" was.

He went to London and encountered many difficulties. He actually knew very little to nothing about the people, the country, the cuisine, and the language of England. He started by enrolling in an English programme to improve his proficiency with the language. A certificate and an expanded vocabulary for Seokjin were benefits of the three-month training.

He was elated that he could now sustain himself financially thanks to a job. There is an answer if you're wondering how he managed to live all these months. He merely put all of his valuables up for sale. He used the cash to pay for rent, his English lessons, a plane ticket, and a visa application.

He just had about 21 pounds in his wallet when he showed up for the appointment with Heidi Elnora. He had a keen sense of style, and a certificate, along with his original viewpoint, earned him a position at the bridal store. He spent six months there before moving on to Kleinfeld, where he worked for another nine months and built a strong portfolio that led to his present position, which he has maintained at Louis Vuitton for more than ten months.

Emma, his senior director, had a lot of admiration for him and his job. As a director, Seokjin's primary responsibilities included supervising the workforce, managing drafted patterns and fabrics, and interacting with customers. If given the opportunity, he would love to design for the company eventually.

He was now returning to the studio apartment he had rented with the money he had made; he no longer lived paycheck to paycheck. He had to work very hard at first, but once he had money left over, he could buy practically anything he desired.

Upon entering his studio apartment, Seokjin took off his shoes and set his bag down. He sighed in exhaustion as he sat down on the couch. He was worn out both physically and psychologically. His divorce from Jungkook has hurt him every day for the past two years, as has the fact that he hasn't spoken to his family, brother, or friend. Yes, he built his own life, but he was still lacking a family of his own.

he reached or for the photo frame he decided to keep from Jungkook's and his wedding. a tear left his eyes, as he caressed his ex husband's face in the frame, "i miss you. so much."
