Anupama took Bhavesh's magnet with her to the school and showed Devika as a matter of pride that she has Bhavesh's magnet for the next two months! Both the girls were playing with the magnet chance by chance whenever the teacher wasn't around.
Anuj saw the magnet in Anupama's hands and he adored the way she was happy playing with it. One of his new friends gave Anuj his magnet for safe keeping and went to the bathroom. Anuj had the magnet in his hands and was watching Anupama continously from the corner of his eyes. He was unaware of when he started to play with the magnet himself. He had started to enjoy it while he focused on Anupama and acted to be focused on a book in his hands.
It wasn't until his friend came back that he realized that he was playing with the magnet. He smiled and gave the magnet back to his friend. He continued to act to read the book and look at Anupama.
Afterwards when he reached his house, he went to his study table where he had his magnet safely kept. He took it and kept it in his backpack. He didn't use to take the magnet with him because he didn't want to misplace it but now, now he wanted to take it with him everyday! Afterwards he went to help Mukku with her project.

It had been almost 3 months since the college had begun. Anuj had made many friends and somewhere he had noticed how Vansh had been ignoring him and distance between them was increasing. It was their pre decided plan that on October 28th 1995 Anuj and Vansh were to stay at Vansh's house as his parents would be out of town. They had been doing this since a long time, they had set fixed dates when they used to stay together and enjoy themselves. These days were dedicated only to the two of them. But this time, this day didn't go as planned.
As decided, Anuj came to his house and was taken by suprise after seeing almost 10 more people there. Vansh was always the loner types, no one really ever wanted to be his friend, for many many years, it was only Anuj who was his friend. Anuj came inside and saw Vansh enjoying a party with his new friends, people who Anuj had not met or seen yet.
Anuj: Vansh..Vansh..hi..
Anuj got no reply as Vansh was busy with his friends. Anuj didn't like it that Vansh was ignoring him. Whenever he used to be surrounded with friends and other people, he always used to make sure that Vansh doesn't feel ignored but now, now he himself was ignoring Anuj! Anuj went near Vansh and patted on his back. Vansh turned around to see the person behind him.
Vansh: Umm?
Anuj: Vansh?
Vansh: Ji....
Anuj: mai..Anuj..yaad hu?
Vansh acted to be surprised and dramatically shocked and happy.
Vansh: Anuj! Oh my God! Tum? Yaha?
Anuj: Vansh..itna acting karne ki kya baat hai? Humara plan toh pehele se hi tay tha..
Vansh: kaunsa plan?
Anuj: aaj ke din ka..har saal ka plan..yaad nahi tumhe?
Vansh: Actually...no, I don't remember..
Anuj: Oh..I see..isiliye tumne apne ghar pe party organise ki..
Vansh: well then..
Anuj: umm?
Vansh: Do..join the..party..with us..
Anuj: Sure! Thanks 😊
Anuj missed the tone in Vansh's voice which was a clear indicator that Vansh didn't want Anuj to join the party instead he wanted him to leave but because he was standing there looking around the place, Vansh was forced to invite Anuj to the party.
Soon after saying 'join the party' Vansh vanished amongst his new friends and Anuj felt very out of place. Like the cherry on the top, Anuj caught a few friends talking.
Friend 1: Yaar yeh Vansh pata nahi kis kis kisam ke logo ko apne party me bula leta hai! Oh God!
Friend 2: yaar emotional banda hai apna Vansh! Pata liya hoga uss ne bechare ko!
Friend 3: Aur nahi toh kya..apni aukat se bahar ki party attend karni jo hogi iss insaan ki!
Friend 4: Cheapster!
Friend 1: Aur nahi toh kya! Nahi toh aise aadmi ko kaun apni itni acchi party me bulana chahega?!
Friend 3: Exactly! Kaun apni party ko destroy karna chahega!
Friend 4: honestly kaise yeh banda yaha khada hai pata nahi?! Sharam aake kam se kam yaha se khud hi nikal jaata toh behtar tha but (He sighs)
Friend 2: but aise wannabes ka kya kar sakte hai afterall!
Friend 1&3: Exactly!
Anuj found all this very humiliating and insulting. To top it all, a guy dropped his drink on Anuj. Instead of apologizing, he started laughing at him and soon everyone else also joined. They started saying things like 'apni aukat se bahar ke party me aane se yahi hota hai!' , 'sahi hua iss ke sath! Ek do aur drinks gira dete hai iss par!' And all the bullshit in this world, plus Vansh was also standing there and laughing at Anuj. Anuj became very angry and glanced an angry look at Vansh before existing the place.

He came back home and quickly went up to take a bath. GK saw him and was worried seeing his angry mood. He went up to his room with a glass of chocolate milk after Anuj came out of shower.
GK: Anuj..yeh lo beta..
Anuj: Nahi GK..nahi lena..
GK: Kya baat hai? Tumhare sath kya hua hai, mujhe batao..
Anuj: GK..aapko toh yaad hoga hi na mera dost Vansh..
GK: Ha, ha zarur yaad hai! Kya hua uske sath?
Anuj explained everything that happened at Vansh's house. GK kept his hand on Anuj's shoulder.
GK: Anuj..aisa hote rehta hai dosto me..koi badi baat nahi hai..tum usse maaf kardo aur wapis se uske dost ban jao..par aage se khud jaake baat mat karna! Woh aaye toh baat kar lene uss se!
Anuj: Theek hai GK..shayad aap sahi keh rahe hai! Accha, ab mera chocolate doodh de do mujhe!!
Anuj returned to the jolly old self. He drank the entire glass of milk and then went downstairs to study and wait for Mukku.

Next day morning, Anuj got ready and reached college. Unfortunately, he got late. He reached the gate and saw his friends, Arun, Pavan, Tarun, Aarav, Vivek and Udit were waiting for him near the gate. They all tried to get inside the class but the teacher inside asked them all to get out. That same teacher had 2 periods back to back.
Anuj: Ab kya?
Pavan: Koi nahi..let's go!
Anuj: Kaha?
Pavan: picture dekhne!
Arun: Kaunsi wali lagi hai?
Vivek: Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
Tarun: Shahrukh Khan wali?
Anuj: aaj hi release hui hai na?
Udit: Ha yaar! Chal na! Forst day ka show dekhte hai! Waise bhi madam class me aane nahi dene wali toh hum log zara maza kar lete hai! Kya bolta hai?
Tarun: Ha yaar! Anuj chal na!
Vivek: I'm in! Tum sab aa rahe ho na?
Pavan: yaar mera hi toh idea hai! Mai toh aa hi raha hu!
Arun: Absolutely mai toh aa hi raha hu!
Aarav: Sure yaar! Sounds like a nice plan! Waise bhi madam doosre class me bhi aane nahi dene wali hai toh let's utilize that time!
Anuj thought about it for a while and then decided.
Anuj: Theek hai! Let's go!
Anuj and his friends bunked college and went off to see the picture. After the film was over they came back and attended the other classes.
