*Amy's POV*
I entered the cafeteria with John. My heart was beating so fast. I felt so dumb. I couldn't hear anything. Then he looked at me and stared.
What. I chuckled.
I don't know . He said.
We were already at the table when he pulled a chair for me. I bit my lip to avoid my smile and my blush. We were eating when suddenly I saw the girls I met earlier Ashley, Sandra and Clover.
Shit! I forgot I was meant to have lunch with them. I looked at John realizing we were both seated in silence and he was staring at me. What. I chuckled.
I guess i have nothing to do than looking at your face besides you are already in front of me. He said with a chuckle.
I guess you are right. I said.
Suddenly, I felt water on my skirt. Then on my hair. I looked up and gasped. Amelia and her school daughter Chloe were looking at me.
What do you think you are doing dork? Amelia said.
You don't belong here.Chloe added.
I stared at John and all he did was frown and stare. At that moment I started to boil up with anger. Its that all he ever did - just stare when people are in trouble .
Hey! I heard Amelia shout . Then a slap landed on my soft cheek. My glasses fell. Everyone was laughing. John bit his lip. Ashley, Sandra and Clover ran over to the table. Before they could touch me I ran out with tears in my eyes.
* Johns POV*
I entered the cafeteria with her. I stared at her. There was just something about her. Something she was hiding from everyone. She had been my lab partner for a long time. I liked her. But I just didn't know how to approach her. I bumped into her on purpose.I asked her to lunch. All I could was stare. When I pulled out her chair my hands were shaking. When she sat down her body touched my hand. My veins vibrated. I couldn't help it. I sat down still staring at her. The plastics came I couldn't move i felt like my muscles were tied with ropes. She glanced at me with hurt in her eyes as she was slapped. I clenched my fists but my muscles still felt like they were tied. I saw 3 familiar girls run to the table. Oh my friends girlfriend and her other friends. I saw her run out if the cafeteria with tears in her eyes. I tried to run after her but I was pushed back and she disappeared in the laughing crowd. She will hate me for this.Luckily, she left her glasses I guess I will give it to her with an apology note.
I hate myself for this.
