"You do?" Wilbur asked, happiness ballooning in his chest.
"I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't," Quackity said with a grin.
"Uh... can I tell you something?"
"Sure."
"...I think you're the only person that's made me shy..."

Quackity grinned again. "Really?"
"Yeah. I mean, I know I fucked Schlatt, but there wasn't really any... y'know, romanticism. He just wanted to fuck," Wilbur said with a soft smile.
"That sounds exactly like Schlatt," Quackity said, laughing.
His hand was still on Wilbur's chest, but now so was his head, and his other hand was lightly stroking Wilbur's hair.
"I can't believe we got this far, just from you summoning me," Wilbur said. "I'm so glad you did."
"So am I," Quackity said. "Honestly, I feel like it would be better for me in Hell than here, cuz I'd have you where everyone can see you."
"I forgot that people can't see me," Wilbur said, laughing, "cuz it means when you kiss me, it looks like you're kissing air!"

"Oh, it does as well," Quackity replied, "that's annoying. They can't see how hot the man I'm kissing is."
"Aw, you're making me blush," Wilbur replied- and it was true. He was blushing.
"You're a dork," Quackity said lovingly, sitting up and placing a light kiss on Wilbur's forehead.
Wilbur smiled.
There was a knock at the door.

"Oh, shit, who is it?" Quackity hissed.
"Dunno," Wilbur replied, "go answer it, I guess."
Quackity hesitantly went over to the door and opened it.
A man in a light brown trench coat, blue collared shirt and dark jeans, was at the door. His hair was a dark brown and his face was set and serious.
The town's police department logo was emblazoned on his coat.
"Hello. I'm Investigator Davidson, but you can call me George, for a more informal approach. I'm here on behalf of the L'Manburg Police Dept," he said in a British accent. "May I come in?"

"Uh, what are you here for?" Quackity asked, fear rising in him.
"I'm here to investigate the death of Foolish Gamers, and you are one of the prime suspects," George said seriously.
"Uhm... why?"
"We found your fingerprints on his body and the knife. It appears you physically hurt him before stabbing him," George said.
"N-no! I didn't do anything of the sort!" Quackity said, panicking at this point. He looked inside the house, where Wilbur was sitting with an identical expression.
He saw Quackity staring and mouthed the words 'it'll be OK', and winked.
"May I come in?" George asked.
"Um... sure."

Quackity headed inside, getting out of the doorway, and Wilbur quickly got off the sofa in case George decided to sit where he was sitting- since Wilbur was physical, but was only be able to be seen by Quackity and Schlatt, it would raise quite a few questions if George sat down on a sofa and ended up sitting on an 'invisible' man- Wilbur couldn't touch them, but they could touch him.
George said nothing, but started writing things down in the notepad he'd produced from his pocket.
"Um. Investigator guy? George? What are you doing?" Quackity asked, sitting down on the sofa uncomfortably.
"Taking notes," George responded simply.

"Take a seat, maybe?" Quackity asked.
"No. I prefer standing."
"Oh. Um, OK."
After five minutes of uncomfortable silence, George spoke.
"I'm done. Now, I shall have to take you into custody for the time being. If it turns out you did not murder Mr Gamers, you will be let out with a full apology," George said, "so please come with me."
"Wha- no! I can't! I'm sorry, no-"
"Then I will have to place you under arrest if you refuse to come."
"You'll never arrest me," Quackity said angrily, "leave me alone!"

It was at this moment Wilbur got up and started mocking George, standing very close to him but not close enough to touch him.
Quackity, who was now standing, looked at him with a little smile.
Wilbur winked.
Before he knew what was going on, Quackity watched in mixed amusement and horror as Wilbur held up a book that had been strewn on the floor- The Art Of War, by Sun Tzu- and dangled it in front of George's face.
