"I was beginning to think you weren't going to show." Eddie said
"I was busy." Marguerite replied
"Busy doing what? I thought I was number one in your life!" Eddie gasped
"You're so nosy. Fine you really want to know?" Marguerite rose a brow
"Yes please. Enlighten me my queen." Eddie bowed
"I was busy getting these."

Marguerite pulled a box of Tampax Tampons out of her bag followed by a large bottle of Advil.
Silence followed as Eddie eyed the objects on the table.

"Oh...uh...nice." he coughed

Marguerite laughed as she saw his face scruch up, he was clearly at a loss for words.

"Anyway," She began to shove her things back into her backpack "You have my stuff right?"
"Nah." Eddie said
"What?! Why the hell not?!" Marguerite snapped
"You, Miss Hargrove are being cut off." Eddie said

Marguerite blinked and looked at the boys face. He had to be the stupidest person on Earth. She had been his number one customer the past few months and now he's willing to just drop those profits like it was no big deal.
She slumped down on the picnic table bench and his her face in her hands.

"Why exactly am I getting cut off, Eddie?" She asked quietly
"You're uh..." He paused "It's nothing. I just can't keep supplying.

He's lying.

"Don't bullshit me Munson. Why am I getting cut off!" She yelled slamming her fist against the table
"Fine fine!" Eddie rose his hands in surrender "I just think you're consuming too much and it'd be better if you cut back."
"Stop acting like my dad and give me what I want." Marguerite glared
"No." Eddie responded

Why the hell is everything so difficult? Life really just enjoys being a total pain in the ass. Does Eddie not understand what she needed those drugs for? She didn't care if they weren't good for her body, she couldn't stand listening to her own head without them. All she could hear and see was Billy. His smile after he taught Marguerite how to drive. His laugh when she had told him his clothes made him look like a man whore. His face when Marguerite had finally reached him as he lay dead on the mall floor.

Hot tears dropped slowly from her eyes and onto the ground. She wiped at her eyes furiously. No way in hell was she crying infront of Eddie of all people.

"Woah are you crying?!" Eddie's question only made it worse as she shook her head trying to deny it

Eddie reached into his back pocket for his blank bandana. He gently placed it into the girls hands as she cried. What she was crying about was beyond Eddie. He didn't think it was just because she couldn't get the drugs she wanted anymore. These tears seemed more real and about something difficult.

Marguerite wiped at her eyes with Eddie's bandana. She tried to pull it together as he sat quietly across from her.

"I'm no expert in feelings but those tears were definitely not because I'm not giving you weed anymore." He said
"It's nothing. And you're right it's not about the weed." She said

He nodded and kept quiet as Marguerite Hargrove kept hiccuping and trying to fix her puffy red eyes.

"Can I have a ride home? Max is off with her friends and Steve is working." She asked quietly
"Yeah totally." Eddie said springing up

Marguerite thanked him when they arrived back at her trailer. She handed him back his bandana which he just pushed back into her hands telling her to keep it.
She bid him goodnight and watched as he disappeared into his own trailer to go do whatever he did on a Friday night.
