When Vegas woke up, it was a normal Sunday morning, he knew immediately that something was missing. Not only did he feel incredibly empty, but he also felt terribly cold in his room. When he sat up in their bed, he was shocked to find out that Pete wasn't beside him.

Immediately he jumped out of bed, "Pete," he called as he kicked open the door to the bathroom, but again there was no sign of him. He rushed out of the room and bumped into some of his bodyguards in the hallway, but they also had not seen his wife anywhere.

Pete wouldn't just leave without informing him, so he was absolutely sure that someone had forced him. He was about to rush to the main family's house only in his underwear, but was stopped by Macau, who met him in the entrance hall and asked him where he was going in this outfit so early in the morning.

"Pete is missing, I must find him," Vegas explained in a state of panic. Macau just let out a sigh," you put on some decent clothes first and I'll call the main family in the meantime, alright?"

Vegas agreed to this compromise and ran back to his and Pete's bedroom where he quickly put on a loose shirt, black pants and a pair of leather shoes, for safety he also put a handgun on his belt.

When he returned to his brother, he told him that Pete was not with them either, but of course Vegas did not listen to what some low-level bodyguards from the main family told him, he would check it out for himself.

A little later he was already standing in the dining room where Thankun and some bodyguards were enjoying their breakfast. When Thankun saw Vegas heading straight towards him, he spat out the portion of rice he had just shoved into his mouth in disgust, "I've just lost my appetite."

When Vegas arrived at their table he slammed his flat hand on it, to get everyones attetion," where's Pete?"

Thankun groaned and turned to Arm and Pol who were sitting at the table with him," is he seriously asking me where Pete is? Does he think I'm a map or something?"

"I know you have him," Vegas hissed visibly annoyed, to which Thankun rolled his eyes," would I risk seeing your ugly face in the morning? Just to kidnap Pete? Who the hell do you think you are?"

Thankun's point sounded valide and so, without another word, Vegas headed off in search of the second brother. Without knocking, he forced open the door to Kinn's room and rushed in. A rather unmanly scream and the sound of glass breaking could be heard, both of them caused by Porsche, who had been startled and was now clinging to Kinn. The man had already pulled out his gun and protectively put an arm around his Porsche.

"Where is he?" yelled Vegas towards them, not letting anything get him off track, even if it was a bit strange that Kinn and Porsche were eating dry bread in their bed while wearing no clothes.

"Who?" asked Kinn annoyed, but kept the gun pointed at Vegas for safety's sake. He groaned," Pete of course, don't play dumb?"

"Why would I know where Pete is?" now Kinn threw the gun back on his nightstand and leaned back in his bed. "Is everything all right with him?" asked Porsche, a little worried about his friend.

"I don't know," Vegas sneered back at them," he wasn't there when I woke up this morning."

"We don't have him," Kinn assured him," and even if we had stolen him from you, he'd be crying all night until we brought him back to you."

As quickly as he had come, Vegas disappeared again, however, leaving the door to the room wide open which made Kinn and Porsche groan. One of them would have to get up to close it now.

Vegas called at his home first, he had his people search the whole place for Pete, but no one had seen him all morning.

"Oh poor Vegas didn't have any success," Thankun yelled to him as he saw Vegas returning from the direction of Kinn's room, visibly distressed, "maybe he just had enough of you? No one can stand to be with a man like you for more than 5 minutes, be glad it lasted that long."

This made Vegas so angry that he walked quietly past him, knowing he could shoot Thankun at any moment. But he knew better, Pete loved him and more than anything, he wouldn't just leave him. No, they had an intimate relationship, even if Pete wanted to get away from him, he would tell him. What Vegas would answer was another matter though.

Back at home he ordered his bodyguards to keep looking for Pete and to search for him outside the house as well, at the places where Pete liked to go. Desperate, Vegas went back to their shared room and dropped onto the bed, exhausted, feeling incomplete without Pete, it was unbearable.

"Vegas?" a questioning voice sounded from somewhere, the withdrawal symptoms seem to be kicking in already, Vegas thought to himself, but when another knock came and someone repeatedly called his name he sat up.

"Pete?" Immediately he jumped up as he realized the voice wasn't really his imagination and he began to look around the room," where are you?"

"In the closet," Pete hesitantly stated," it won't open from the inside."

With a few steps Vegas had reached their closet and indeed saw Pete sitting there on the floor, knees pulled up to his body, looking incredibly adorable. Pete climbed out of the closet and immediately snuggled against Vegas' chest," thanks for the rescue."

Vegas hadn't been this relieved in his life in a long time and hugged Pete as tight as he could." You don't know how worried I was about you. What are you even doing in our closet?"

Pete didn't answer but instead took Vegas face in both hands and pulled him into a kiss. Vegas, however, was not so easily distracted and held Pete's jaw with one hand to keep him from kissing. "Why were you in our closet?" he repeated the question, this time sounding a bit more demanding about it.

Pete didn't even think about answering, but instead slowly ran his hands up our Vegas shirt, up his stomach muscles to his nipples. "Pete stop it," Vegas now said in a threatening voice and immediately Pete removed his hands from his upper body again.

"I'm just going to ask you one last time, why were you in our closet?"

"Secret," Pete whispered, looking at Vegas beggingly, hoping he would drop the subject.

"Oh so we've been keeping secrets from each other lately," Vegas questioned with curiosity, pushing Pete toward the bed," that's very interesting."

"So where do you hide your little secrets," he inquired further as he pushed Pete down onto the mattress. Running his hand under Pete's waistband," here maybe," his hand moved further back to Pete's ass," or here?"

"Vegas," Pete whimpered," it's so early in the morning, I want some breakfast first."

Vegas couldn't be stopped in his action though and before he knew what was happening to him Pete's pants were already thrown to the floor," if you knew the stress I've already had today because I thought my wife had been kidnapped."

"I'm sorry about that, I really am," Pete apologized and quickly gave Vegas a kiss on the cheek.

"What were you doing in the closet?" asked Vegas again slowly," you get another chance because I love you so much, but if you still won't tell me I won't be so gentle with you."

Pete gave a defeated sigh," I was just working on my birthday present for you."

Vegas flinched when he heard that and slowly removed his hand from Pete's underwear again," A present for me?"

He nodded," you said you didn't want me to buy you anything so thought I'd make you something by myself. But since you and I are always together I haven't found the time to do it without you noticing, so sometimes at night I sit in the closet for an hour and work on it. Today was the first time the door closed and I fell asleep in it because I didn't want to wake you up."

You could see Vegas face soften a bit more with each word, until he was looking at Pete with an loving smile," you're so sweet darling."

With his arms crossed, Pete sat on their bed, wearing only his shorts, and made an indignant noise," and you ruined my surprise."
