For those who want a timeline for their reading experience and avoid confusion these events occur after the first chapter "Looking for something."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The main house was busy this morning making preparations for the minor family to arrive. Pete and the other bodyguards were ordered to wake up extra early than usual. They were lined up outside waiting for the vehicles pull up.
Pete stood next to Porsche by the flowerpots near the front door's entrance. Since his last encounter with Vegas he had been shaken up by events that have occurred. Constantly reminded by the red marks on his body that stinged with pain each time they were touched during the first week.
After the mission to which he was assigned to work with Vegas ended he returned to his boss, Tankhun. Since then, he hasn't seen or heard of Vegas' whereabouts. But the marks on his body allowed him not to forget about their encounter, those emotions he felt then still lingering on his mind. Generally speaking, it has been a few weeks since the last time he'd heard about the minor family and to be quite frank he was worried about their appearance at the mansion.
"Why do you think the minor family is arriving today" Porsche asked him.
"I'm not sure perhaps one of their regular status meetings" Pete answered.
He didn't really care why the family was arriving, his thoughts were busy thinking of one person...Vegas.
It's not that he had feelings for him. Nothing that had happened between them was fair. He was stuck having to satisfy the members of this family or else well, he'd be as good as dead. Besides, there wasn't anything left for him in the outside world anyways. It wasn't all bad though, there were still good people in this underworld. He was able to meet some of his very good friends, Pol and Bas.
Yet, a part of him still longed to know more about the man. He wanted to know more of Vegas' intentions. To see if he had any ounce of humanity still left. Clouded by his thoughts he heard the sound of an engine in the distant. A black sedan pulled up. Pete would recognize the car from anywhere.
It was His.
Some of the bodyguards went up to open the back seat door and out came the signature low necked printed shirt. He walked up to the front doors following the guards and tilted his head sending a smirk, in which to Pete's surprise directed to him.
"Did he just smile at you?" Porsche asked confusingly.
"What?! N-no you must've have seen wrong" Pete stubbornly responded.
"Pete." Porsche looked at him, he paused and put on a concerning look.
"Be careful okay."
Pete stared at the once newly stubborn bodyguard now warning his senior, although,
he didn't understand what he meant. Did Vegas do something to Porsche? He wondered. Just the thought of it made him shiver.
They both walked inside to the dining room. The bodyguards were standing at each corner of the table and Pete served the guests drinks. As he walked over to each of the guests with bottle of red wine Vegas slid his glass towards him at the edge of the table.
Pete started to fill his glass while looking up to meet his eyes. Entranced by his blaring eyes he did not notice when the glass was filling up to the top. Vegas purposely moved the cup getting some wine on the cuff of his sleeve.
"HEYY! Goddamit do you not teach your bodyguards any manners here!" Vegas shouted.
"So sorry Khun Vegas!" Pete pleaded.
"Calm down Vegas, it's only a small drop. You can borrow one of my dress shirts." Kinn spoke up lifting up the uneasy atmosphere.
"Pete go take him to change into something clean."
Pete put down the bottle of wine immediately and turned his back walking to the chamber of clothes. The tailor in the house fitted clothes for all the members including the bodyguards. There were some rooms in the house specifically made to keep the garments for the brothers and their father.
