Gaga was due to go in for surgery this morning. Taylor eventually turned up at the hospital to give her some moral support. "I'm so sorry. I really should have been here for you. I know I messed up and I promise I won't do it again." Gaga smiled at him.
"This one better be a promise you're not going to break." She leant in for a kiss. I walked into the corridor; this felt like their special moment and I didn't want to interrupt that. A few minutes later Taylor met me in the corridor. I stared down at the blue lino. "Indie! You're just the person I needed to speak to. I hope Stef doesn't overhear."
"It'll be fine Taylor. Just say what you need to say." Taylor took a small black box out of his pocket.

"Taylor! Are you kidding?! This is amazing!" He opened the box to reveal a petite engagement ring encrusted with tiny diamonds and edged with sapphires. "Wow! When are you going to propose?" He pressed his finger to my lips. He smelt nice, like coffee and cologne. Just like Gaga had when I first met her. I blushed pink and looked at the floor again. I'd always had feelings for Taylor but I could never confess them. He'd hate me forever, I was sure of that.

Neither of us were actually allowed in the operating theatre. Gaga smoothed her hands over Taylor's stubbly cheek and kissed him before they carted her off. The last I saw of her was a nurse smoothing down her hair before the curtain closed.

Taylor got us a limo back to the apartment. It was huge. I made sure I was sat a few seats away from him because the urge to kiss him was too strong. Eventually I dozed off. During my sleep I could feel a warm hand stroking my hair. In my mid-doze slumber I just smiled and closed my eyes again. Until I realised it was Taylor.
