Chapter Two: Giving you up...

Rick flew up into the skies, his strong arms supporting me feeble body.

'Rick, where are we going?' I asked.

'My place.'

I was overwhelmingly happy with his response and laid in his arms.

'Samantha?'

I nodded.

'I can't love you...but I do.'

'I feel the same way.'

'No, I can't love you. We're from two separate worlds torn apart by feuds and wars...I love you, but I can't.'

Before I could say anything more, he swooped through the skies and landed outside my house.

'No Rick, please don't leave me!' I pleaded.

'I have to Samantha' He sighed. 'I have to.'

And with those last words, he soared up into the sky.
