chapter nine

Taehyung rushed to the bathroom kneeling down, all his food he had made its way up to his throat, Taehyung wiped his mouth with his shirt, and he groaned flushing the toilet.

He was exhausted and nauseous he sat down on the couch, running his hand through his hair closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath.

Sang-woo was fast asleep, and he waited for Jeongguk to come and visit him as he promised. He took the day off as he wanted to rest.

Taehyung started to realize his heart would throb around the alpha, he made him feel things he never wanted to feel again. Not again.

He heard the door open and Jeongguk slid his arm around Taehyung's waist, "Hi, love" he whispered to his ear. Taehyung bites back his smile, "Hi" he mumbled back feeling his cheeks turn a tinted shade of red.

Jeongguk placed his head on Taehyung's shoulder scenting him, what he noticed of the omega was his scent smelt quite different. Like a cherry blossom tree.

"Your scent smells different" Jeongguk remarked, something didn't seem right.

"W-what?" Taehyung choked.

"Nevermind just relax." the alpha said placing his hand on top of Taehyung's belly slowly caressing it Taehyung went still at the gesture. He turned to look at Jeongguk. "Something wrong?" He asked with a confused look.

"No…no-" he stopped noticing the purple bite mark near his collar bone. He licked his lips sniffling his scent. "Where…where have you gone last night?" He questioned, he smelt like other omegas. His eyes were glued to the love bite.

Jeongguk cleared his throat, covering up the mark, "I was out with Namjoon hyung. Why is something wrong?" Jeongguk asked, removing the strands of hair from his face that kept covering his beauty.

"No…no of course not I was just curious, I just want you to stay safe,"

"Don't worry too much about me," Jeongguk knew how Taehyung felt but the thing was he doesn't feel the same way well that's what at least he thinks.

He plants a kiss on his exposed neck. Taehyung just leans into the tough as he places his hand on his tummy. "Do you ever plan on having kids with your mate?" Taehyung asked, staring at the ceiling.

The silence was loud, and Jeongguk shifted positions. "No. Not for another five years, I'm not ready to become a dad, I still want to focus on my career, raising a child takes a lot of responsibility" he said.

"Yeah, your right,"

He sighed, he felt odd, he knew something was wrong with his body. It just felt like the time when he found out about his son. His very first son.

Feeling a tear threatening to fall out he blinked his eyes, he let out a long sigh again he turned to his side ignoring the presence of the alpha.

Jeongguk stared at his back, Taehyung has been acting strangely these past couple of days, and he was itching to find out. He hugged the omega whispering sweet nothings to his ear, causing the omega to burst down into tears.

"I'm sorry, I need some time alone"

"Love, let me be with you, let me be your shoulder to cry on" he gave him a small smile he pulled him into a hug only for Taehyung to stop him.

"Please I just need to be alone Jeongguk," he said looking down on the bed. He frowned just nodding his head. He gave him one last kiss before he left.

Taehyung laid back down, sniffling to himself, he's scared, terrified of his thoughts. His mind was running wild. He just hoped, hoped to not be carrying another pup with a man who didn't want to have the whole responsibility of raising a pup.

He turned around grabbing the sweatshirt Jeongguk left there from the last visit. He pulled it over himself, he took a big huff of his lingering scent. He sighed into the hoodie he now wore.

He felt calm.

Once Sang-woo woke up running to his mom's room. He saw him fast asleep, cuddled up with the blankets Jeongguk laid on before he left.

"Mommy! Wake up!" The boy yelled, causing Taehyung to look up, his eyes puffed up from all the crying.

"Baby!" He said in his hoarse voice, his head throbbing against his skull causing him to close his eyes shut. "Woonie baby, you want to spend the day with Mimi? Mommy isn't feeling well today, I'll promise to take you out to the movies?"

"Will mister go as well?" Taehyungs gaze softened Jeongguk has made a huge impact on his life.

"Yes, Jeongguk will be there too" Taehyung nodded, running his hand through his son's soft hair.

His son went running out of his room with a big smile on his face. Taehyung sighed getting up and calling Jimin.

"You alright you been acting kind of weird lately," Jimin remarked as he grabbed the cup of coffee and took a sip.

"No yeah I was alright, I just this whole marriage thing seems new to me" he forced out a laugh.

Jimin just hummed and noticed how he wore Jeongguk’s oversized sweater. He noticed something, "Have you and Jeongguk gotten into a fight?"

"What? No, there's nothing we argued about, I'm just… I'm just not feeling good belly aches'' Taehyung nodded, placing his tea on the counter.

"Right"

"I'm ready!" The little boy yelled as he wore his backpack on and carried his favorite stuffed animal in his arms. He had a wide smile, he hugged his mother and Taehyung hugged him back, giving him a kiss.

"Be good with Mimi"

"I will!" He cheerfully said and waved goodbye to Jimin and his son who walked hand in hand. Taehyung closed his eyes for a moment. He headed back to his room lying back down and caressing his nonexisting belly bump. Later he fell asleep, sleeping off his worries.

"Jimin? Why's Sang-woo here with you?" Jeongguk asked as he sat down the little boy rushed onto his lap giving him a big hug, Jeongguk smiled and kissed the top of his forehead making the boy giggle.

"Oh? Taehyung called me to take him, I'm guessing he has a belly ache that's all he told me, he looked awful though he look tired. You should talk to him again" Jimin said while Jeongguk nodded his head.

"I tried but he wouldn't tell me what's wrong, ill go check up on him again," Jeongguk said, hugging the boy and heading out of the building.

"Bye, mister!" Sang-woo said as he headed to play with the car toys he brought with him.

Jeongguk headed to the store grabbing medicine for Taehyung's upset belly aches. He grabbed even a couple of snacks for later.

He headed to his place, he opened the door which was unlocked, usually, he would lock it, he went to his room he saw the omega soundly asleep, his hands on top of his belly. He looked exhausted.

Jeongguk got on top of the bed and whispered aside his ear, "Darling wake up, I brought you some medicine" he said, running his fingers along his hair.

Taehtung jolted up, "W–w–what are you doing here?" He questioned looking terrified as if he saw a ghost.

"I brought you some medicine. Jimin told me you were sick so I brought these" he grabbed all the items and poured them onto the bed. Taehyung yawned pulling Jeongguk to him and releasing his pheromones. Jeongguk leaned in nibbling his scent gland.

Taehyung released a small gentle whimper, he felt Jeongguk place a hand on Taehyung's back making him arch his back while giving him hickeys around his neck.

"Jeongguk" he let out a small low moan, and he wrapped his arms around his neck. Jeongguk stopped, scenting the omega who looked at him blushing bright cherry red.
