Johnny could say he was surprised at Ten's words. But then again, he was Johnny Suh, who wouldn't fall for him. "I mean, I guess we could do that." Ten smiled, staring at Johnny with stars in his eyes.
"Okay then. How about tomorrow we have a movie date and some dinner?" Johnny nodded, setting down a box on the floor.
"Yeah, I'd like that. I'll pick a restaurant, you pick the movie." Ten agreed, giving Johnny one last smile before leaving the room. Johnny set up his room in a happy mood for the rest of the day.
At around 1am he finished unpacking, sitting down on his bed with his laptop searching up Korean restaurants close to where he was living for his date with Ten. He smiled when he found the restaurant they were going to eat at.
He left his room soon after, his stomach was greedy for some food. He raised the Thai's pantry finding nothing, which he took upon himself to leave the apartment in search for a convenience store.
Johnny eventually found an open store, heading inside finding some instant noodles for himself as well as a bottle of Banana Milk. He handed the items to the cashier, ringing it up then telling Johnny the total of the two items. "Thank you," Johnny says grabbing his stuff then leaving the store.
"Seo Youngho!" Johnny whipped his head around, seeing his mom standing by his car. A chill went down his spine upon seeing his mom. "You really think you can leave my house? I am still your mother and legal guardian." he knew leaving without a word was risky, even for him.
"Mom, i don't want to live there anymore!" Johnny retaliated, growing angrier by the second. She scoffed, grabbing Johnny's wrist.
"I don't care! As long as you are a minor in Korea's eyes you will live under my roof!" Johnny ripped his hand away, heading towards the front seat of the car.
"I turn 20 in less than a month. What will me living with you for a month do?!" He shut the door on her, sticking the key in the ignition then revving the car pulling the gear shift to drive.
He drove back to Ten's apartment, silence engulfing him while he collected his thoughts. When he stepped into the apartment he saw the Thai sitting on the couch "Hey John. I think I've got the Movie we'll watch tom-"
"Ten, I don't think we can go on our date anymore." Ten widened his eyes, flying off the couch to stare at Johnny.
"W-what, why?!" He asked, confusion laced his tone of voice.
"There's been so much mom shit that been going on, and she just followed me to a convenience store to make me live with her." Johnny explained, he sat at the island putting the bag on the counter.
Ten understood, but that didn't mean that he liked the fact that he wasn't going on a date with the man he liked because of his psychotic mom.
Ten sat back down on the couch, dejected at the news. "Sorry Ten. I really am." Johnny apologized, his fingers rubbing his temples.
"It's fine John. I understand, plus you did just go through a shit ton of hardships in the last year so it's okay." Johnny smiled at Ten. He went up to the smaller male, engulfing him in a hug.
Johnny just couldn't do anything. Johnny couldn't live with his mother breathing down his neck.
Johnny couldn't live.
