Mikey locked himself inside his room after that. Sanzu was still bugging him but unlike then, he would just stared at Sanzu with empty eyes.

Kokonoi kept Mikey busy. They came up with an idea on how to grow the gang. Kakucho was doubting himself at first. He saw how hard working Ran and the others were even if it's an illegal business. All he could do is accompany them every meeting. He was doing the small work but they never made him feel that he does not belong to Kanto Manji Gang.

Ran was the one who taught him everything about business. He poured everything into this business, gang, and for his fellow members. Of course, Ran knows everything. He's good at everything else. Except that he can't be loyal to his wife.

"Don't meddle on my business." Ran huffed as Koko and Rindo stood in front of him.  "And didn't you the one who insisted that I should marry her." He looked at his brother. Kakucho quickly get in between the Haitani brothers. Rindo is fuming mad. He lose his control when his girlfriend betrayed him.

"It was a bet! I didn't think you're serious!" Rindo yelled at his brother.

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down, sweetness." Sanzu appeared beside Rindo and tried to back him away.

Kakucho turns around to face Ran. Reine Estelle is still young. She has a world to discover. There's so much more waiting for her. She doesn't deserve to be imprisoned with Ran, them.

"Ran, listen to me. Us! What you're doing is not good for her. You could just let her go, Ran." Kakucho held Ran's shoulders as he stared deep into Ran's orchid orbs.

"Yes, don't be a jerk!" Koko says. Kakucho nodded as an agreement but Ran was just too stubborn.

"I can't! I don't want to lose her!" Ran swatted Kakucho's hands away from him. He shot up a glare towards them and Kakucho just wants to punch some sense into him.

"Then, stop being a jerk!" Kakucho yelled and Ran didn't even flinch. God, if Izana is here, he will be laughing at the corner and will imitate him.

"Kaku-chan, you would not understand!" Ran pouted as he throw his arms on the air.

"Then, make us understand you idiot! Reine is suffering. She didn't want to be here!" Rindo yelled. After Koko and Rindo saw what Ran did, they waited for Reine to leave the building before confronting Ran.

"I'm in love with her!" Kakucho eyes widened. He did not expect that. They all did not expect that. Ran wasn't the one who falls in love. He wasn't the one who will settle in a young age. Kakucho thinks he is the only sane person here. And that was Mikey is trying to say to him these past few months of living with Ran and the others.

"If you are in love with her...why did you hurt her?" Kakucho asked. He couldn't understand what Ran is trying to say. He only knows that if you are in love with your person, you will do anything to make them special. You will go through with them through their ups and downs. You will take care of them, and treat them well. If you are in love with them, you will make them feel how much you love them.

Loving should be like breathing. It should be just a quality in you. Wherever you are, or even if you're alone. Love goes on overflowing from you.

"I hurt her to keep her safe."

But, all of us have different types of love. We love differently that's why we couldn't find the right person for us. It's like we're just loving because others has a significant other. Some people wants to have a lover, some loves genuinely. It's different.

Kakucho was sitting on his bed when he unconsciously held his chest where his heart is. He thought of Izana and a few heartbeats fast, his face was burning hot. He badly wanted to see Izana and hug him. Tell him how much he misses him. And maybe, he will have the courage to say he loves Izana.

Sanzu was banging on the door when he screamed. Only to be met with a bad news.

"Someone trespass Izana's room!" Kakucho felt his heart pace slow down. He couldn't move when those words were muttered out of Sanzu's.

And he finally moved when those words sinks in. He move so fast even if he don't know what he will do. The only thing that was in his mind was Izana. And he swears if something bad happened to Izana, he will kill those fuckers who trespassed his room.

Kakucho arrived in the hospital with Mikey. Mikey's eyes weren't focused and the uncomfortable feeling was making Kakucho shiver. He watched closely as Mikey stared at Izana's empty room. Izana wasn't there. Izana wasn't on the hospital bed.

"It will be alright. Everything will be alright." Kakucho told himself even though he feels like crying already.

"That...Zurie Kasdeya." Mikey punched the wall and his knuckles bleed. "I will kill her." Mikey says and before he could stop Mikey, he found the mentioned girl standing on their left side.

"Oh? I didn't know you had a brother." She laughs. "Though, he finally woke up!" Kakucho stepped in when he saw Izana was being held with two people behind Zurie. He's alive. He finally woke up and he was staring at Kakucho with his tears welled up.

"Kaku, help! I couldn't still move!" He says so weak. Zurie turned to her back and smirked.

"He was in coma!" Zurie laughed mischievously.

"If you want to be with Rindo, you can't get him with doing this." Kakucho narrowed his eyes as Zurie flinched. Of course, Zurie Kasdeya was in love with Rindo. Kakucho should've been more careful when Zurie was with them. She was a traitor, a puppet, she only wanted to make her brother happy. But, when she fell for Rindo, she couldn't decide who to give attention. She's sick as fuck.

"You dared to touch Izana?" Kakucho hissed. Zurie didn't even move one bit even if Kakucho can see through her how much scared she was.

"Sanzu will never have Rindo." She replied.

"You are more better than Haruchiyo. You're a fucking whore." Mikey spats. He glared at Zurie before kicking her on the stomach. "I don't hit girls. But, you. You're a devil." Mikey looked down at Zurie who was laying unconscious on the floor.

Kakucho attacked the two guys who were holding Izana. And when he finally held Izana on his arms, he couldn't help but cry on Izana's shoulder.

"Izana...you're awake." Kakucho's voice cracked as he held onto Izana. He held Izana so tight that the latter chuckled because he couldn't breath properly.

"Of course, those bullets won't be my downfall." Kakucho's heart swell. He finally hear Izana's voice again. He can finally feel his warmth again.

"I miss you so much, 'Zana." He can finally tell Izana how much he misses him.

"Thank you for saving me, Kaku. Thank you...Mikey." Izana whispered the last word. Kakucho smiled, maybe, this is where it will begin.

Maybe, he can love December's again.
Now that Izana is here.
