"Mikey, the others -"

Kakucho couldn't continue what he is about to say. They just left the hospital when the Sano siblings arrived. He called Sanzu earlier and was told that they are in the middle of fighting.

Kakucho thought that Mikey doesn't want to see his siblings. And he was right. "I'm not ready to face them." He says but was stopped when he saw Draken standing beside his motorcycle. Their car was parked beside Draken so Mikey walked into a different direction. The others needed them so they need to get going.

Kakucho can't afford to loss the people who were beside him after all these years.

"Mikey, when will you stop?" Draken spoke, his voice is deep. Kakucho ignored him and opened the door of the driver's seat.

Kakucho saw Mikey turn towards them and stared at Draken with cold eyes. He sighed before driving towards Mikey.

They completely ignored Draken but it is for his own good. They don't want to include them in anything they are doing right now. They got used to fighting, doing illegal things, it's like a habit. A drug that made them so addicted.

However, after that fight, he found himself standing in front of the Sano household. Mikey was already walking towards the door as Emma opened it for them. She looked so ready to jump on Mikey and Kakucho saw how her lips quiver, she's so close to crying. Mikey didn't say anything as he entered the house.

"Takeomi." He nodded at the older man who is standing beside Shinichiro. Takeomi nodded back before gesturing him to sit beside Izana.

The room was silent. They are just staring at each other and Kakucho could feel how Izana tenses up when Grandpa Sano entered the living room. He scanned the whole room before his eyes stopped on Izana.

They watched as Grandpa Sano walked towards Izana and Kakucho. Emma was beside him and Kakucho admires her for holding back her cries. She's strong like her brothers.

"I've been wanting to meet you, Izana." Grandpa Sano says as he bowed in front of Izana.

"Ah! Nice to meet you too, sir!" Izana panicked. He stood up to bow 160 degrees and Kakucho stifle his smile.

Grandpa Sano told Izana to sit as for hinself he sat beside Mikey who was looking down at his shoes.

"I heard about the fight you two were in." He started, two of the former leaders kept quiet as they waited for their grandpa to continue.  "Izana was injured and Mikey lost his way." He looked at Mikey before looking at Izana with a sad smile on his face. "Every night...I'm asking myself. Where did I go wrong? Why couldn't I save my own grandchildren? Shinichiro was the one who is doing everything but he failed too. I, We, just want the two of you to get along. I want to fix everything. I want to live my remaining days with my whole family."

Kakucho looked away when his tears begin to spill. This is Izana's family. And Kakucho was genuinely happy that Izana is finally getting what he deserves the most.

Being with his family.

As his friend, Kakucho wants best for him. He wants him to be happy. And that's the only thing he can wish right now, the happiness of Izana. After all the things that he have been through, he deserves all of this.

"I'm sorry, Mikey. I was jealous-" Izana couldn't continue his sentence when Mikey attacked him.

"Don't say something like that. I did all of this for you. Don't let yourself down now." Mikey says before hugging Izana tighter. Kakucho smiled at Izana when their eyes met. And his heart jumped when Izana smiled softly before hugging back Mikey.

"WAHH! TAKEOMI! ARE YOU SEEING THIS?!" Shinichiro cried. He's bawling and  so as Emma.

"I can see this shit, Shin. Calm down." Takeomi sighs before tapping his friend's shoulder. He saw how Takeomi looked away from the scene in front of them. Emma went to her brothers and hugged them.

"Welcome home, Izana and Mikey."

While they are having their moment, Kakucho received a tons of messages from Mochi and Koko.

Yo, scar boy! We're outside the Sano residence.

Can you ask them if they have sake in there?

Is Takeomi there?

Tell him to come out and we will play cards. My palms are itching.

Kakucho snorted upon reading what Mochi had messaged him. It's too embarrassing for him to ask Shinichiro-kun for sake! So, he just told Takeomi that the others are waiting outside. He immediately went out with Shinichiro-kun in tow, rambling about wanting to see Sanzu.

After the two left the room, Kakucho looked back at his phone and opened his conversation with Kokonoi.

Is Draken there?

Are we going to there shop?

I just wanted to talk to 'Nupi even if he's angry at me.

I'm not saying I missed him.

To: Mr. Kokonoi

It's okay, Koko. You can tell me that you misses him.

"Who's that?" Kakucho freezes when Izana looked over his shoulder and pouted when he saw his conversation with Koko.

Okay, maybe Kakucho is feeling awkward right now. It's been a long time since he got close to Izana. And if ever he went to the hospital to see him, he won't enter his room and just watch Izana for hours.

There shouldn't be a problem because they've been close since they were kids but when he thinks those times that he dig through his heart that he is in fact attracted to Izana. He can't help but feel embarrassed.

Izana's eyelashes moved as he looked up at Kakucho with curiosity. Kakucho is now taller than him despite being older.

"Why aren't you moving?" Izana asks as he tilted his head to the right side, exposing his neck.

Kakucho gulped before looking away. He really misses his tan skin. The way it shines under the sun and the way his eyes-.

"Kakucho! What happened to you?!" Despite being small, well not really small, Izana's voice is louder than he thought. He blinked for a moment when Mikey smirked from in front them. Emma was telling Mikey something and Grandpa Sano was nowhere to be found.

"I'm fine." He calmly said before looking at Izana. "I just - I can't believe you're here." He don't know what to say! He's panicking and Izana's two siblings in front of them isn't really helping!

"Aw! I missed you too, Kaku!" Izana brought both of his hands up and squished Kakucho's cheeks. He smiled before leaning down to smell Izana's hair. His snowy white hair reminded him of the snow that he once despises.

Once despises because Izana was the one who made Kakucho love December's.

Kakucho is now looking forward for more snow castles.

They went out after to meet the others. He can feel Izana's giddiness. He's as childish as Mikey but they're different in many things somehow.

He's glad Izana is finally settling down to this. He couldn't see him smile like this before. And when he finally mention for the first time that he will stay with his family, Kakucho can't help but smile bitterly.

He hopes that he can have someone, something, somewhere, that he can call home. Or maybe even better, a family. But, he losses them.
