Izana watches as the sky turns to gray. The cold came and the ground was now white. It's December. He always waits for this season to come. He wants to seek warmth in the cold, he wants to wish some things that he knows it won't be granted.

He find it funny to ask for Santa Claus for something when he knows he's not real. Well, if you live in a fairytale world, he would exist. But, he doesn't live in a fairytale world. They say that 'we live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.'

But for Izana,  it's hard to tell if the world we live in is either a reality or a dream.

He lived knowing that the mother who keep him was his real mother. He lived a good life with Emma on his side. And then, he was taken to the orphanage where he saved Kaku and that was one of the heroic story he has.

His life became better when he met Shinichiro, his older brother. Shinichiro was like an angel who gave him happiness. He was glad to meet him. He was glad that he could call someone a family.

But just like how the snow melts and the cold and gray sky go, he thought he could live a life where he can be the main character. He found out that Shinichiro has a younger brother. That younger brother who is stealing his spotlight on Shinichiro's life. He hated it. He was jealous. Shinichiro should have keep his attention to Izana.

Izana knows it's not just because he's jealous. He was scared as fuck. What if Shinichiro really slip away from his life? What will he do? Where will he go?

There's a few people he treasures the most and one of them is Emma, his younger sister. Izana loves Emma that he swear he will do anything just to protect her. To keep her happiness, to keep her freedom, so she can live free.

So, he didn't want to approve this. Killing Emma. Hell, he will be the first one to die.

And he tried not to feel relieved when he heard that Draken and Takemichi saved her. The heavy feeling in his chest vanished as soon as he heard that. Though, he won't show how much it affected him.

There's so many things or even people Izana wanted to keep. Like his earrings, he wants to wear them forever. Like Kakucho, he wants to be with Kakucho until the day he dies. So, he doesn't really expect Mikey to tell him that he wanted him to be with Emma and Shinichiro. Mikey can be childish, he heard it from Hanma who's always have a say about everyone.

Mikey wanted him to be his brother too. Izana thinks it's hilarious. But, when he saw how serious Mikey was, he nearly gave in.

And of course, Kisaki is the villain. He shoot Kakucho. And Izana uses his body to save Kakucho and Izana's soul left him. And as he have noted, he will be with Kakucho until he dies.

He then again, remembers his conversation with Ran before this.

"Ran, if something bad happens...can you be with Kakucho?" He didn't meet the older's gaze as he continue to look outside the window.

"Um, are you perhaps...? I don't know, um..." Izana chuckles. He can feel that the Ran wants to say something but he's hesitating.

"Kaku once told me that I gave him the reason to live. If something bad happens to me, can you be with him and take care of him while I'm away? He has a soft heart, Ran." He swallowed thickly after his sentence. He wants to continue his sentence to brag how much Kaku is a good person. "This is not a command from me as your leader. It's an order from me as Kaku's friend." Izana finally looked back at the man and smiled.
