~Nialls Pov~

It was just a few small aches at the start. A small pain in my head. It only happened a few times a week. I didn't realise it would get to this point.
I knew we were busy for another few months until we had a proper break from the tour. It's only been a month since Zayn left. It was the biggest thing this band has ever gone through. I'm just glad we got through it. The fans took it hard, we took it hard. Hell even Simon took it hard. Unfortunately, when Zayn left another thing took his place. Stress. The stress of trying to keep the band together, to keep the fans happy. It's difficult getting used to Zayn not being here. When I first found out I thought it was a joke. I was shocked. I'm happy for him though. He seems a lot happier now and we still keep in contact. He did what was right for him and who was I to judge?

Headaches became a regular thing for me now. The constant worrying and we've been busier than ever. Even though we're on a two month break, we still have meetings, writing sessions and recording sessions. The work never seems to stop and I know I need a break, we all do. Unfortunately, our schedule doesn't allow it.

So that is why I am leaving for the studio at 7.30am after only getting home from the studio at 3 am, which has been happening for a week straight. I know I need sleep. (The huge bags under my eyes are proof.) I've just been so stressed that I can't sleep. The minute I get into bed I can't shut my brain up. The constant worrying about the future of the band is driving me insane.

I got up out of bed and yawned ruffling my hair. Looking at the clock I sighed. 6.34 am. I only got a half hours sleep. I put my head in my hands and rubbed my temple. I could feel a head ache coming on already. Standing up I slowly walked to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and to say I was shocked was an understatement. Huge, black rings circled my eyes. I looked as pale as a ghost. My hair was an absolute mess and eyes were dull. I ran my fingers over my lips. They were dry and cracked. I sighed at my reflection and reached towards the medicine press, looking through all the tablets until I finally found a painkiller. I put the tablet it my mouth and swallowed it dry, not bothering with water. After getting a quick shower I began got ready to head to the studio. I threw on black skinny jeans and a plaid shirt. I wasn't bothered to dry my hair so I put on a hat. Yes, it was a farmers cap but I like it thank you very much. I grabbed my phone of my bed and went to the kitchen to grab the keys of my jeep. I didn't bother with breakfast. The headaches make me get sick and I can't afford the get sick everywhere today. I had a busy day ahead. I walked to the sitting room and grabbed the boots I robbed from Harry from under the coffee table. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get dizzy from bending down to get them. I walked out of the flat and locked the door. Walking to my jeep seemed to much more difficult than usual. Taking the stairs was torture. (It always is but now more than ever). It seemed like I had no energy these days honestly.

Eventually, I reached my jeep. Starting the jeep with a sigh, I began driving through the busy streets of London. The place was packed today. I was starting to get frustrated. Half an hour later and I was still waiting to go through the traffic lights. Finally the lights turned green and drove quickly to the studio.

As I reached the studio and was looking for a place to park I could see around thirty girls surrounding Liam. I smiled and shook my head. The fans never fail to impress me. I wonder how long they've been here for? I park in the closest spot to the studio and quickly jump out making my head spin. I quickly steadied myself. No one noticed thankfully, everyone was completely distracted by the Greek God that is Liam Payne.

"Niall!" Liam shouted with a huge smile on his face. I walked over to him greeting fans on the way.
"Liam! How's it goin' mate?" I asked him giving him a quick hug.
"I'm good yeah. Just meeting these lovely girls here." He said giving one of them a wink making her blush. He continued to take pictures with the fans and I decided to do the same. I walked over to a group of girls who were waiting patiently at the other side.
"Hey girls! What's the craic?" I asked smiling. They started giggling and asked for pictures. I ,of course, said yes and began taking the first of many pictures today.
I turned around when I felt a small tap on my shoulder. A girl stood there looking down at the ground fiddling with her hands. She looked around fifteen and really shy.
"Hey babe. What's your name?" I asked the shy girl putting a hand on her shoulder soothingly.
"Marie" she said quietly looking up at me with a nervous expression.
"Lovely name. Would you like a picture?" I asked with a smile trying to make her less nervous.
"Yes please if it isn't to much hassle." I could detect an Irish accent.
"Of course it isn't. You Irish too?" I asked and she nodded.
"What part?" I asked while taking the picture.
"Near Wexford." She said.
"I've never been to that part before. I must go some time." I said handing her back her phone. I was about to go to the next fan when she grabbed my wrist gently and pulled me to a more quiet part of the car park. I looked at her curiously. She then started to speak.
"Niall, are you okay?" She asked. "Of course" I replied.
"It's just," she paused as if she was thinking about what to say "you look exhausted. You have huge bags under your eyes and you've lost quite a bit of weight. The fans are worried about you. We can see that Zayn leaving has effected you a lot. We think you need to take a break before you end up hurting yourself. You're pushing yourself to hard. There's so much support for you on Twitter. Everyone is worried about you. Please just take a break. The fans want you to take one. We don't care about a new album like you tweeted after Zayn left. We care about your health more. We just want to make sure you're okay." She rambled nervously. I was shocked. Did the fans really think that? How did they notice? They're like bloody detectives!
"That's really sweet. Unfortunately, management decides the breaks but thank you for your concern. Don't worry about me. I'm absolutely fine. Zayn leaving is just a bump in the road. It'll take a while to get used to but we can handle it. I promise you this album will be amazing. Thank you so much for caring. It's times like this when I know we have the best fans on the planet." I said giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. My head was killing me but I ignored it.
"I may go now but I hope to see you again yeah?" I said while walking beside her going towards Liam.
"Hopefully" she said with a huge grin on her face.
"Oh and Niall," she shouted to me. I turned around and raised an eyebrow
"does Harry know you stole his boots and I love your hat." I burst out laughing.
"No he doesn't know. I stole them from his suitcase before he went to LA. And thank you, at least someone understands my love for this hat" I said chuckling. All of the fans started laughing. I said said bye to them and headed into the studio with Liam.
