Estile opened her eyes. From many years of experience she had learnt to not struggle or snap awake and instead used her senses to survey the situation. There had been quite a few times upon waking up where she hadn't been in the safest place and at those times not moving was usually the best choice. This time however her body tensed.

"So where are we?" she asked naturally.

"Estile!? Thank God you're awake," Kyle replied relieved.

For the moment she ignored his surprise and concern, "Is there a reason you're carrying me or can I get down now?" Her body was tucked close and being held like a princess in the hands of the brown haired man. There were many people who would find the situation envious but for Estile she was more concerned with any of his ulterior motives.

"We're currently flying so careful," he let go knowing that holding her any longer wouldn't be a good idea.

Estile placed her feet into the air and quickly came to grips with the situation as she stood as if on solid ground. They were in the middle of the countryside with no major city in sight and a far cry from where they had come from.

"How are you feeling?" Lav asked as they slowed to a halt.

"I'm... good," Estile couldn't help frown. "How long was I out for?"

"A few hours."

"What?" she was surprised but not for the amount of time but lack of it. "I ate an entire bomb capable of destroying the city. Did you do something?" Even for her that much energy was dangerous.

"No we didn't," Lav shook her head. "We've been travelling steadily from the Human God Capital since. It's not good Estile, I can't get the co-ordinates to teleport and the others aren't answering. Seeing that you woke up however, our luck is coming back."

"Yeah...," she returned the smile trying to reassure her but having seen the dreams she just had, something was going to change.

Kyle clasped her shoulder, "Hey if you're still feeling weak I can carry you again. We're probably still an hour from our destination."

"Okay first, I'd rather Lav carry me. Second, where are we heading?"

Lav poked out her tongue, "See I told you I should do it."

"Oh shut it," Kyle eyed her and faced Estile. "We're on our way to Amstire."

Estile nodded in understanding, "That's where Mori should be and where Riften headed off to."

"Exactly. The others would have prioritised the other cities which were closer. Hopefully they could get there faster than us."

"Then we should get going."

Kyle grabbed her this time more forcibly, "Hey listen to what I'm saying. Orpheus died which means whatever is happening is serious. Even if Lav has to carry you I'd rather you get some rest."

A swirl of energy sparked from her body, "Trust me Kyle. I'm fine."

The young man gave in and sighed, "But you shouldn't be."

The three Mercenaries quickened their pace flying steadily over the plains, mountains and forests below. To be more appropriate Estile herself couldn't fly but ran on the air, taking large strides to keep up with the other two. The energy intensive magic was simple but not something any normal person could use practically. Despite everything that had happened with the Human Gods death, Estile's mind was elsewhere. Visions of another time and place had spread through her dreams, fragments of someone else's life. It wasn't the first time it had happened either and probably wouldn't be the last.
