"It's strange, isn't it? How your heart burns... and burns... and suddenly turns to ice."

Alora

It was Thursday today and I'm getting ready for school. I had a bit of a hard time choosing an outfit. But in the end I chose a big gray t-shirt with a pair of black baggy jeans and a pair of white sneakers. I brushed through my dull brown hair and put on makeup.

did the same make-up as yesterday. After that I hurried to pack my things and ran down to the kitchen. My mother had gone earlier because she was going to work in the office today. Because sometimes she did not have to do it and could work from home as she did yesterday.

I took a banana and chewed it fast and then I drank a glass of orange juice. It is much tastier than apple juice in my opinion.
I cleaned up after myself and jogged to the hall. I did not bother to walk because I save time by jogging.

While I put on my jacket, I looked at the clock that hung on the wall and saw that it was 7:30 and it takes 20 minutes to drive to my school. Plus my first lesson starts at 8 so I really needed to hurry up. I took my things and left my house. It was a sunny day today and I could feel the sun's rays on my skin.

I locked the front door and ran to my car, which I had received as a gift for my 16 years birthday.

It was from my dad as a sad gift that he could not come. He was in Spain with his new young wife.

The same fucking wife he had been unfaithful with when he was still together with my mother.

My father and I used to be close, but after what happened to my mother, he had disappeared for over two months.

He wrote to me after about 3 months and said that he would not be as active in my life anymore and that he had moved to Spain and met a young nice woman.

Just so you know his wife is 25 years old and I'm only 17.
I was a little disgusted when I found out. The only person I had told was Allison.

I went into the classroom and saw that everyone was already there even though it was still 5 minutes before the lesson started.

All seats were occupied again today but at the back there was a free seat next to the shy guy. I call him shy because he usually never talks to anyone and almost always sticks to himself.

But that only made him look much better in some way. He and I still have quite a lot in common, both have almost no friends. And we stick to ourselves.

I used to have friends or less said I had Allison who dragged me everywhere with her friends and then I also became friends with them. But they were not my real friends, and I have noticed that now. None of them talk to me anymore.
