The Halloween Spirit~

Y/N POV

I am {Y/FN} {Y/LN} And I am the Spirit of Halloween and supposed soon to be Guardian of Halloween.

When I was chosen by MIM to be the next Guardian I didn't take too kindly to his choice, I enjoyed spending my time alone and not having to interact with people. The quiet cold night would always smooth my Nerves...but North didn't like how I treated my Guardian role.... To become an official guardian you need all of the current Guardians to grant you access to your title.

North denied my title...So I left. I didn't want the role to begin with so when he denied me I took it as my chance to leave, I fled and found an abandoned cabin deep in the forest where no person would dare go.

It worked for a few years but eventually my peace started getting interrupted once a year...Halloween, a few kids somehow found my home and convinced their parents to let the trick or treat at my home.

The thing is Humans can only see me on Halloween since I am not an official Guardian, so it shocked me when children appeared at my door on Halloween for the first time in well forever. Of course I had to give them candy since I always have spare laying around but it definitely spooked me...

I am only remembered once a year by the same children. I am only visited once a year by the same children. I am only loved by the same children once a year. I am only accompanied by the same children once a year....

It started to get to the point where I'd feel lonely so I started to walk around town on Halloween, of course the children who would trick or treat at my door always seemed to recognise me as I would walk down the streets. We'd exchange a few "Hello"'s and "How are you?"'s but nothing more.

I'd always feel like I was being watched and I hated it. It ripped at me from the inside, constantly feeling like someone is watching my every move and judging my every action.... I disliked it. Heck I Despised it.

I started to visit the people more and more even when they couldn't see me, I enjoyed seeing people happy and enjoying their life with their loved ones.

~~300 Years Later~~
(Sorry for the time skip)

I was was taking my daily stroll through the town as I noticed a group of kids enjoying themselves, I smiled to myself as I noticed a familiar figure? I couldn't quite place my finger on where I recognised him from until we locked eyes.

The tips of my ears turned a tone of red as I remembered who he was, I quickly started walking in the opposite direction hoping he didn't recognise me. To my luck it seemed that he didn't remember who I was.

Jacks POV

I watched Jamie and his friends play around as I smiled to myself wishing they could see me.. I slightly turned my head as I saw a {Y/Hight}
{Y/Weight} boy who looked around my age smiling to himself at the kids. I looked at him as we eventually locked eyes, he looked shocked and quickly started walking away... ' COULD HE SEE ME?!' I questioned to myself looking shocked. He ran pretty fast seeing as I didn't see where he went wich bummed me out...'Maybe it was just my imagination.' I thought to myself as I realised the kids started to walk away "OH! Wait up guys!" I said chuckling to myself.

Y/N's POV

'OMG OMG OMG DID HE SEE WHERE I WENT?!' I thought to myself as I quickly ran through the forest back to my house. I returned home quicker than what I had expected, I walked inside as sat down on the sofa as I tried to calm my breathing. I put my AirPods in as I listened to music to try and calm myself down, sadly since I am still supposed to be a Guardian I need to attend important meetings between the Guardians.

I started to calm down as I noticed my globe start to glow "Oh for fuck sakesss!" I wined as I sat up ready to hear Norths Urgent message "Guardians I need you at the North Pole asap. No questions asked get here soon." ......."That's it? That's all he wanted to say?! Fuck sakes" I spoke sounding unamused. I walked over to my library and skimmed a few of my books until I heard one click, I pulled the book out as the bookshelf moved out the way and showed a secret compartment.

I put the book in the compartment as a secret shelf appeared, there were multiple globes covering the shelves. I picked one up and whispered "The North Pole" into it, the inside of the globe changed into a view of the North Pole. I threw the globe onto my floor and watched it smash as a portal opened up "Oh god I can never get used to the feeling of teleporting!" I wined as I walked into the portal.

~~After a few minutes of nauseating teleporting~~

I arrived at the North Pole and decided I wouldn't make my presence clear until I was needed. I sat on a shelf above the rest of the guardians as I listened to them talking, eventually North walked up to the group and started to speak. "Pitch is back." He spoke adding nothing more. The other guardians looked shocked and confused "What do you mean Pitch is back?!" The Tooth Fairy questioned as she held one of her Faries in concern, "I mean he has returned and is threatening the children..." North spoke sounding angry and upset. I dropped down from the shelf and landed without making a sound "How do you know he's back?" I asked as the others looked at me Suprised. "The globe was covered in black sand and he appeared." He spoke back to me in a serious tone. I looked down in anger 'Has he really returned?! What are they going to do?!' I thought to myself as everyone else started to talk and argue. I looked over to my side and noticed sandy trying to alert everyone about something "What's up Sandy?" I asked crouching down to his Hight.

He made a bunch of signs wich I managed to understand "The MIM! Look!" <—(That's the Translation) "GUYS! The Man In The Moon! " I yelled grabbing everyone's attention as we all looked at him. The MIM shined his light onto the guardian selection floor as everyone looked shocked expect me "A new guardian?! Ooh I bet it's the leprechaun!" The Thoothian spoke with excitement "I bet it's Jack Frost.." I spoke with a smirk, everyone looked shocked at me Minus bunny who just looked pissed.

As you expected MIM chose Jack Frost wich made everyone look at you, you just returned their stares with a smirk.

And so Jack Frost is to be the new Guardian Huh...Good luck frost boy....
