Third Pov {Point of View}

It was Halloween night and {Y/N} was walking his usual path through the woods to his home. He lived in a remote cabin in the woods, even though he was the Halloween spirit and soon to be Guardian of Halloween he disliked kids and tried to stay away from them as much as possible.

Surprisingly it was a cold Halloween wich made a few lakes freeze over, many if not all kids were encouraged to wear warm clothes over their costumes wich ruined the Halloween vibe but it was understandable.

He walked past the frozen lake taking in the cold air as he stopped in his tracks. He turned to his left to see ice breaking in the center of one of the frozen lakes, he stood there in surprise as he watched a pale boy float slightly into the sky where he aligned to the moon from his point of view.

Y/N's POV

I watched as the boy floated into the air. I stood there in slight surprise as I hid behind one of the tall trees that surrounded my home, I watched as he gasped harshly and started breathing heavily as if he couldn't breathe correctly. I started to get concerned as he slowly lowered to where the once broken ice was now fixed?? And perfectly normal?! I stood there in slight shock and curiosity took over me as I slowly walked a little closer to him.

I hid behind another tree wich was closer to him, I watched as he picked up some sort of stick and waved it around. As he did ice started to form where his stick touched, he started running around touching some of the surrounding trees wich started to turn them to ice. With just my luck he didn't touch mine wich allowed me to watch him for longer or that's what I thought until...

*Snap*

I stepped on a twig. 'I STEPPED ON A TWIG?! FUCK!' "Who's there! Come out now!" He yelled towards my general area, 'Shoot! There's no way I can run home he'll surely follow me and I definitely can't fly home! I'll be an open target!' So I walked towards him with my hands slightly raised exposing my palms to try and show that I meant no harm.

"Hi! I'm {Y/FN} {Y/LN} I mean no harm! I just saw you as I was walking past!" I spoke slightly chucking as I started to panic because of my Anxiety 'I guess this is what not talking to people for more than a few centuries does to you...damn it!' I thought to myself as I tried to slowly back away without him noticing.

Jack's POV

'Does this kid think I'm stupid? I can clearly see him backing away?' I stood there with an unamused face as I lowered my staff. "You do know that I can see you backing away?" I spoke sounding unamused, clearly what i said must have spooked him seeing as he jumped slightly. 'Hm he's kinda cute but really fucking weird?? Eh whatever.' I thought to myself, I watched as he started to slightly float? 'What kind of Halloween trick is this??' "What day is it?" I asked as he looked a little confused. "It's Halloween, 31st Of October 2022?" He responded as my facial expression filled with shock and confusion.

"It's...2022?! OCTOBER 31ST 2022??" I yelled back in confusion, clearly he wasn't expecting me to yell seeing as he looked shocked.

Y/N's POV

He shocked me when he yelled...I could see on his face that he noticed wich just made the sinking pit in my stomach grow....'fuck!' I thought to myself as I started to run away. 'He's clearly unstable I need to run home as quick as possible without letting him see me!' I thought as I tried to run faster, suddenly he dropped down in front of me "What?? Can you...Fly?!" I questioned a little loud compared to what I originally wanted. He looked at me with a confused look "I umm I guess? I'm not sure I can jump really high and do other stuff, look I need your help! You seem to be like me! I saw you float earlier!" He pleaded grabbing my hands.

The tips of my ears turned a slight red as my reactions basically shut down. "I umm you weren't supposed to see me floating! I cant I'm sorry!" I spoke panicking as I quickly flew off home. I managed to get home without him following me wich I was incredibly thoughtful for!
