Recap
"Haley is...Haley is Cr-Crimson?" I ran and covered his mouth.
"You can't tell a soul. I swear." Dyson came by my side and repeated the same thing.
"So I guess you're not so innocent after all."
Chapter 2~ Theater Time
When I got home, along with Dyson and the talking baboon...Lucas...I quickly went upstairs to shower.
My favorite part about taking a shower after the fight is when all the hair dye comes out. Sense it's the temporary kind, it comes out in one wash. All the crimson color gathered up at the bottom of the tub and it looked really cool.
"Dinner!" My mom called from downstairs. My mom is the best cook ever! I wish I could say we were really close, but I can't. I was closer with my father before he...left.
What I saw when I came downstairs, what not good. Lucas sitting at the table.
"Ugh. Just because he knows my secret, doesn't mean we have to be nice to him." I whispered to Dyson as I sat down.
"Actually...it kinda does." I groaned, that not going unnoticed by my mother.
"I made your favorite food, Haley!" She chirped. My head snapped to the food on the table.
Spaghetti noodles, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and butter. Plus a small pot of spaghetti sauce if you don't like the garlic and butter. What you do is get the bowl of noodles. Put a small amount of butter in with the noodles. After that, you add a dash or to of garlic powder. Lastly, you put as much Parmesan cheese as you'd like. It is the bomb!
"Thank you!" I quickly dished myself up and dug in while my mother and Lucas ate regular spaghetti. Losers.
"So...When you told me Lucas was coming for dinner, you forgot to mention one thing." My mother said to Dyson. He looked up at her and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Ugh. I don't think I did." He said through a mouthful of garlic noodles.
"You forgot to say how handsome he was!" My mother gushed. I groaned for the second time at the table, all for mostly the same reason.
"He is far from handsome, mom." Lucas shot me daggers.
"Oh, and then what is he?" Mom wiggled her eyebrows. I covered up my flaming cheeks and hurridly finished my garlic noodles.
Hot. "Ugly." I muttered.
"Haley!" My mother gasped. "Don't say things like that!" I put my bowl and fork into the sink and went upstairs.
"Night guys!" I gave a little wave and left.
I woke up to Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down on my radio alarm clock.
If I go crazy then will you still call me superman!?
I love 3 Doors Down!
If I'm alive well, will you be there, holding my hand!?
Too bad I don't like school. My hand instinctively went out to slap the snooze button but instead, got a water balloon.
"Dyson!" I yelled as the cold water splashed everywhere. I jumped out of bed and ran towards the laughing. Instead of Dyson, it was Lucas. "Are you really that stupid? I can fight...and you just made me angry." I stated.
"I could take you. But I don't hit girls." I scoffed.
"Well then I suggest you don't start something you can't finish." Lucas gulped and I smirked, walking away.
