I got up, still moderately tired from jetlag, and got ready for school. I thought that I wouldn't like wearing a uniform, but it saved a lot of time. I was able to actually eat breakfast today, which was nice, even though it was just instant miso soup.

I walked out, feeling more confident about starting school today. I made sure to arrive early so I could go to the faculty office and get my class. To my surprise, there were a number of people that were here as well. I saw a few of the guys from earlier near what I assumed to be a gym.

'I wonder what sport they play.' I thought, walking into the main building. When I found the faculty office, I walked in and asked one of the teachers about my schedule.

"Oh, you must be (y/n)! You'll be in class 1-5. But, before you go, the vice principal wants to see you."

"Oh, um thank you." I walked out, nearly hyperventilating, what did he want, 'Did I get in trouble that fast?' I calmed myself down before walking in. 'It's my first day. I'm sure it's just something about possible language barriers or something like that.' I took a deep breath and walked in.

"Excuse me, I was called here?"

"Ah, yes, you must be (y/n). Please take a seat. As you know, you were sent on account of your academic achievement in a presentation about social emotional health and school-life balance." To be entirely honest, I forgot about that, I did say all that, but I don't follow any of the guidelines and routines that I presented. I kind of feel like a hypocrite.

"Y-yes, I remember." He smiles, I'm really nervous now, he's not gonna make me do some extra counseling or whatever, right?

" Well, the volleyball team will be participating in the spring tournament. However, at the start of the year, there was an *ahem* incident. So, I want you to join as an emotional and mental wellness counselor, a position made especially for you. You'll make sure that everyone is okay and won't pull any stunts that could jeopardize our reputation. Your old school approved it already, so you will also go on the week-long trip to Tokyo with them."

I nodded and left after being dismissed. Why? What does volleyball have to do with mental health? I didn't have time to think about it though, he said to start as soon as possible. I got to my class and was introduced. I heard a few whispers, maybe piercings aren't as common here? They helped me fit in at my last school.

"Thank you, you can sit next to Hitoka over there." The teacher pointed towards a petite blonde girl who was sitting at the front next to the window.

Class went by surprisingly quickly and before I knew it, it was lunchtime. I got out... nothing. I didn't pack a lunch. I forgot. It didn't bother me that much, so I just doodled a little and looked over my notes.

It was then that I remembered the whole situation with the volleyball team. I gotta ask someone if they knew if the volleyball team had practice today or not. I looked over at Hitoka, she was eating alone, so I thought I might as well.

"Excuse me, but do you know if the volleyball club has practice today?" I asked, she jolted up, and looked over at me. Now I feel bad about asking her, she probably has no idea.

"Yes, they do. In fact, I'm going as well, I'm their new manager. What about you?" I did a victory dance in my head. 'I'm so glad that she knows, now I don't have to find the gym on my own!'

"Well, it's a long story, but I'm supposed to be joining as an emotional and mental wellness counselor. An emotional support animal I suppose." She looked, confused, but I guess she accepted it because she held out her hand and smiled.

"My name is Hitoka Yachi, but you can call me Yachi if you want." I shook her hand and smiled back. "(l/n) (y/n), but you can call me (y/n)."

"To be honest, I was kinda scared when you talked to me." Yachi confessed, we had started talking and hit it off immediately, chatting up a storm. "No way! I was so scared that you'd think I was some stalker trying to follow one of the members." I replied.

We held a pleasant and lively conversation until lunch ended, in just that little time, we became the best of friends. I was glad that I had an ally here, it was starting to get lonely.

After class ended, we started walking to the gym, my nervousness increasing with every step. Yachi said that she joined as the manager only recently and was still intimidated by the players somewhat. Apparently, they were tall and lively. The other manager was a girl as well, according to Yachi, she was really pretty.

She opened the door to the gym, interrupting practice, which had already started. I instantly froze up when everyone started looking at me.

"M-my name is (l/n) (y/n), and I will be joining you from today." I bowed and walked further inside towards who I assumed was the manager, she was indeed, very pretty. She had flawless skin, and silky black hair. Her pink glasses accented her almond shaped eyes.

"I see. Takeda-sensei told me that you would be here. I'm glad that you made it." She sweetly smiled at me. I suddenly felt conscious of how My bangs looked.

"Yea..." I looked at the boys who were practicing. They were mostly average height, a few outliers were taller, or shorter. There was one that was about my height. I smiled, seeing them practice makes me want to do sports. I never put time into any though, I don't think I'd be that good.

"I'll teach you the basics, so you don't have to worry about it. Practice will end soon, so you might want to grab a few bottles to give to the players.  She points to the drink holders sitting beside her. I nod and grab three or so and mentally prepare myself to meet the players.

As I was handing out drinks, I heard a voice that I vaguely recognized. I looked up and saw a familiar blondie standing in front of me. It was the guy from the convenience store.

He looked at me and smirked, " I didn't know that bulls went to school."
