Luella

Xander: Get your ass over here.

Me: Why would I do that?

Xander: Because you love us all so dearly.

Me: That's not true, but sure.
Me: I'll be 10 minutes.

Xander: See you LuLu.

Today is my birthday. I'm 18. I'm an adult. I have freedom. I can do what I want. I make my way to Eddie's gas station that he owns and we all meet at. I hope they forgot my birthday. I really don't want it to be a big thing. Deep down, I know that they haven't forgot because they're such amazing friends, but I'm still hanging on to the semblance of hope that they have.

"LuLu!" The guys line up in single file to hug me, telling me that they definitely haven't forgotten about my birthday. When it gets to Blaine he just quickly says hi and then walks away to his bike. Weirdo. "We want to take you somewhere." Oh god, please don't be some surprise party.

"Okay?" They're dragging me towards their bikes, and Johnny shoves me onto the back of his motorcycle. That kinda hurt my ass.

We pull up to a nice little hut on the beach in San Diego, California. It's a summer house and it's beautiful. I have no idea why we're here though. Am I staying here for my birthday?

"What are we doing here?" I'm so confused right now.

"Come on. We need to go inside."

"Are you all planning to kill me or something?"

"Of course not. We'd never do that." Christian says with a wink at the end, making me doubtful. We walk inside after knocking and waiting for a response. I hear a low male voice from inside shout out a reply that sounded like 'Come in' but I'm not 100% sure. The door is very thick, blocking out a lot of the sound. I walk in slowly, not knowing what waits inside. Is it a hitman?

"Lu, we want you to meet somebody." Oh god, what is this? Gabriel pushes me forward and a tall, handsome man comes into view. What the fuck? His face is so familiar. He has dirty blonde hair, piercing green eyes, a clean shaved face and a prominent jawline. His height is larger than mine, larger than all of the Pikes but Blaine. He's wearing black jeans, and a white T-shirt. He's very young, yet older than me for sure. Where have I seen him before?

"Lu?" Johnny snaps me out of it and I return to the present. "This is Jacob Sutton." Jacob Sutton? Jacob Sutton is my most favourite artist. How the fuck did they get him here?

"Luella? It's nice to meet you." He holds out his hand and I'm dumbfounded. I reach out and clasp my hand into his. It encases mine with room to spare, and it's rough yet warm and gentle.

"Nice to meet you too." He chuckles and shit it was hot. Oh god, I can't be crushing on a guy that I don't know and is years older than me.

"You okay? Here, sit down." He moves some things from the couch and sits me down on it.

"We'll leave you guys to talk." Everybody leaves, Blaine at the back. He looks back at me and his eyes flitter between me and Jacob, narrowed into thin slits. Is he jealous? He follows the others and leaves the house.

"So, I hear you like my work?"

"Yes, I do. It's inspired me for a few years now."

"Well, I'm glad. Do you want a drink?"

"Sure. Thanks."

"No problem." He fixes us both a drink, and he lays them down on the coffee table in front of us.
