The Government around the world sent aid to those affected, And the survivors, Well I was the only one along with several dozens around the world. And they also unrooted something else and out of ordinary, it turns out, The survivors all them got powers that don't seem human, like super speed, durability, and more. Because of their scarcity, governments around the world decided to make use of them, and weaponize them.

And project Vanguard has been enacted by the United Nations and NATO as a counter-terror or a super weapon of sorts. The Vanguards anything could easily tear through an entire battalion like paper, even able to survive underwater, and in the vacuum of outer space, and stand Point Blank Airstrikes, as well as trekking across a whole continent in a matter of days.
