Ryujin & Yeji | Ryeji | Stolen Moments

Chapter 1

Ryujin and Hyunjin had been together for coming up to 8 months, this was her first relationship and she was happy with him, some might even say too comfortable, maybe even bordering on monotonous but she was happy and He treated her well so she really couldn't complain or ask for anything more, that was until she met her.

(Flashback 3 weeks ago)

"Babe I want you to finally meet my family, they've all been asking about you and have asked me to ask you to come on our family holiday next week" Hyunjin said while smiling sweetly at the younger girl
Ryujin couldn't lie, the Thought of meeting Hyunjin's family made her extremely nervous but she couldn't exactly say no to him, especially when he had that excited look in his eye that made him look like a cute little puppy , she had put this off for a while and she didn't know why exactly but she knew she couldn't push it off forever so she doubtfully agreed to go on the family trip and anxiously waited for the next week to arrive.

That week had passed by way too quickly and that's how Ryujin had found herself currently driving her and Hyunjin to the nearest airport, not knowing where she would be spending the next 2 weeks because Hyunjin "wanted it to be a surprise" , so she didn't know if she had the right kinds of clothes or supplies with her, all she knew was that she'd be needing her passport so basically she knew absolutely nothing, that on top of meeting all of his family for the first time added to her apprehension about the trip

The car ride was relatively quiet other than Hyunjin quietly singing along to some overly poppy pop song on the radio and Ryujin's occasional pefectly on pitch humming, after about an hour of driving they were at the airport trying to find Hyunjin's family since his father had just text him 2 minutes ago saying that they had just got there, just then they both saw a big blue car pull up not too far away, from the excited smile on Hyunjin's face Ryujin knew that this must be his family, she took a deep breath in and out before grabbing his hand and getting ready to walk towards the car, feeling Hyunjin squeeze her hand and smile at her gave her a bit of reassurance that it would all be okay.

Just as Hyunjin's dad opened the car door, Ryujin could hear a girl's voice whisper shouting "NIKI YOU BRAT GIVE ME MY PHONE BACK NOW" which made Ryujin chuckle slightly, she had met Hyunjin's Little brother a few times before when they had been to some of his football games when Mr and Mrs Hwang couldn't make it so she knew that he was a bit of a trouble maker so hearing this didn't Surprise her at all, Mr Hwang just smiled at Ryujin and said "sorry about the kids they're always bickering, siblings y'know how it can be" making Ryujin laugh and nod her head slowly and think about her little sister Yuna, she was brought out of her nostalgic thoughts when the girl that she had heard previously had got out of the car, roughly slammed the door loudly and rolled her eyes before nudging her dad lightly in the side with her elbow and said "dad stop calling me a kid, I'm 20"

This made Ryujin smile at the girl whos resemblance to her brother was shocking , Ryujin Thought they could be identical twins, and as they locked eyes, she couldn't help but feel some type of way that she couldn't describe, must just be the nerves, Ryujin Thought and tried to stop herself from glancing at the beautiful cat like younger girl again, before she could dwell on whatever just happened she was being enveloped in a big hug from Niki making her smile and ruffle the boys spikey blonde hair while saying "hey kiddo how've you been" to which the young boy smiled and started telling her about his day at school

Just as the youngest Hwang finished talking Mrs Hwang made her way round the front of car and stood next to her husband , then Hyunjin spoke up and began to introduce Ryujin to everyone properly " Ryu this is my mom and dad" to which Ryujin bowed and politely said "Hello Mr and Mrs Hwang it's nice to meet you, thank you for inviting me" then Hyunjin moved on saying "you already know Niki" as the boy held out his hand to give Ryujin a high five which she reciprocated "and then finally this is my Annoying little sister Yeji" both girls smiled shyly at eachother and said "hi" at the exact same time making them giggle, after a couple of seconds of the 2 staring at eachother Hyunjin spoke asking his parents what time their flight was and saying they should Go inside the airport since they only had an hour to go through customs and get on the plane

Luckily it wasn't too busy and they made it to the plane with 10 minutes to spare, just as Hyunjin was about to sit down next to Ryujin, his mother spoke "Hyunjin honey can you please sit by your brother for the flight today, you know how he gets" to which Hyunjin just sighed, leaned over to give Ryujin a kiss and said "I'll see you when we land" but before he could finish his sentence Yeji slapped him on the head and said "enough of that Romeo let me get to my seat, don't worry I'll look after your girl now go" making Hyunjin roll his eyes but do as she said anyway, making Ryujin laugh as he walked away and the younger Hwang sat down next to her, with a nervous smile.

Before either girl could say anything to the other, the pilots voice came over the speakers announcing that the plane would be leaving soon and so everyone started to prepare themselves for take off
