Roxy's P.O.V
After I walked away from Bree, I decided that I would walk towards the canteen and see if I could be social. I know what you are thinking - me? Social? You must be kidding! If I'm not talking to Bree anymore I thought that I would at least try and make new friends.
As I walked in, I noticed that there was a boy with brown hair and green eyes sitting all alone in the corner, munching on a sandwich. He looked really nervous so I walked over to him and smiled. "Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" I asked and he shook his head. I mumbled a 'thank you' and pulled out the chair so that I had leg room. "You new here?" I asked and he nodded his head, "Just moved here last week" he said with a strange accent, English I think. "Do you need any help with anything?" I asked and he nodded. "I was wondering if you could tell me where Miss...Henderson's afternoon registration class is?" he asked and I nodded, "That's where I am going next so do you mind if I walk with you?" I asked him openly and he nodded. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" the boy asked as I got lost in his eyes. "Erm, Roxanne but you can call me Rox" I said and he smiled at me, showing off his pearly white teeth. "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl" he said and I blushed at his sudden confidence. "Thank you..." I said, trailing off for his name. "I'm Cameron but you can call me Cam" he said and I smiled. "Handsome name for a handsome boy" I said, repeating his words - "Are you mocking me?" he asked playfully and I nodded. "I don't know, am I?". "Come on - we better get to class" I said as I gathered my things up and waiting for Cameron to do the same with his. "You seem pretty chilled about the whole moving schools thing" I said and he scoffed. "I wouldn't say chilled - it's an act. I am so scared it's unreal" he said and I smiled. "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I will be here for you if you need me" I said and he nodded, "Is it too soon to ask for your number to get in contact?" he asked and I shook my head and giggled slightly, "I would be pleasured to give you it". I wrote down my name and number on the back of his planner because his phone wasn't charged. We walked through the doors of Miss Henderson's class and I instantly knew there was someone missing...Bree.
I am SUPER SORRY that it is so short but it's my brother birthday so I have been busy getting stuff ready for that and all that jazz - school started back again on Monday so I will have to work around my schedule...sorry xx
