My heart pumps faster
My blood is coursing through me
As the world goes today
The sun shines down
On me
And melts my fears away
Your feet hit the ground
You come to visit me in town
And how I love you so
My heart beats for you
And I'll never let you
Go
When the world is in flames
And the sky is a hurricane
When I can't hold on anymore
And it seems like life is a closing door
You'll come to me
You'll help me see
That my life was meant to be
And my heart will beat for you
