The rain won't stop if you tell it to
The cow won't moo if it doesn't want to moo
There is only one thing that's true
You can only control you
Your friends might be doing drugs
Or become a group of thugs
They might get in fights
They might go drinking at night
But you can only be true
Don't let them control you
Be free, live your life
Don't involve yourself with a gun or knife
You are an individual who can decide on your own
If you want to ignore the call, or pick up the phone
You are you
They are them
And if they force you to be something other than you
Why are they your friend?
