sunghoon's whole body flushes of red. his cheeks bloom with a shade of red; his eyes are glimmering with endless of stars. sunghoon looks away from jake's stare, looking at the window ahead of him. his heart is pounding so loud, he's afraid jake might hear it.
"i love you, sunghoon! and i'm glad i do. i'm not going to leave you. and i'm going to protect you, no matter what. i don't care if you think it's your job to handle everything in this relationship but i won't just allow you carrying all the burden. we're together. we're in this together or not." jake says, voice firm. jake walks closer to sunghoon, he holds sunghoon's hand and brings it to his heart.
"you feel that? just focus on that."
sunghoon could feel jake's chest raising up and down and up and down and all over again, but his heart, his heart pounds with every second of life. sunghoon's eyes fill with tears and all he could say is: "i'm so so sorry" and sunghoon crys.
jake pulls sunghoon into a hug. sunghoon burrys his face into jake's neck, finding comfort of his scent and touch. jake kisses his hair, "it's okay, I'm here now."
sunghoon feels like an awful boyfriend. how could he have hurt jake? how could he do that? he was so selfish to only think of himself, he never notice how he was hurting jake alone. he knows what he did wrong, and he will never be able to forgive himself, yet jake can. with that said, sunghoon will always remember that he doesn't like the feeling of keeping distance between them. he doesn't like the feeling of jake being far reach from him. he doesn't like the feeling of not being able to see the blush bloom in jake's cheeks. sunghoon loves jake, so much he doesn't think he'll be able to let go. and, sunghoon doesn't want to let go. as long as jake doesn't want to either.

sunghoon releases himself from jake's hold, he smiles at jake. "gosh, I feel so much different now."
"better I hope." jake replies, grinning too.
"deftinely. thank you, jake." sunghoon's hands go down his waist. "I don't know what was happening to me. i just felt like—like—as if, there was something cloudy over me. does that make sense?" sunghoon tells jake.
jake chuckles, "kinda? whatever is was, i'm just glad you're okay now."
sunghoon smiles. "me too. and...what was it you said? about loving me?" sunghoon teases.
jake's cheeks burn up from heat. "i love park sunghoon."
sunghoon's smile grows widder before he gets closer to jake, his lips close to jake's ear. "i...i also love you, jake." sunghoon whispers. "i think i love you more than you do."
jake's ears flush red, he softly pushes sunghoon. "you fell in love faster and i fell in love harder." jake states.
"can we kiss now?" sunghoon blurts out, his grip on jake's waist tightens, jake can feel it.
"as long as we're okay." jake implies.
"i'm okay. we're okay. we're far past okay. i love you—"
and with that jake presses his lips against sunghoon's. sunghoon is taken by surprise but he kisses back anyway. jake's hand holds the back of sunghoon's neck, he leans in closer to sunghoon. their lips in sync and pressed perfectly together. the room was entirely quiet expect for the sounds of kisses when they were made. jake pulls away first, finding it weird kissing in a classroom where students usually learn.
"let's go home?" jake says, brows furrowed.
sunghoon's lips curve into a smile. "yeah...let's go home."
that was that, jake the boy who never thought he could love. sunghoon the cupid who fell in love with the boy he was not in love. a human and a cupid, how was that possible? they made it possible, because, together they're able to do anything they desire. and, falling in love? well, that was never intentionally, it was just a walk through love. a peaceful walk with certain emotions that go by, such as a happy beginning, and a sad ending.
