The big three gods are Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. Here we will explain what they do and what is associated with them.
First up we have Zeus, king of the gods, and god of the sky. His parents are the titans Cronus and Rhea, and he's their last child. Zeus rules over lightning, electricity, any type of weather, the sky, and much more. He shares part of the world, and rules it with his brothers Hades and Poseidon. He is often depicted with a lightning bolt, his Roman name is Jupiter.
Now that we have Zeus covered, let's move onto Poseidon!

Poseidon is the god of the sea, water, earthquakes, and horses. He's also a son of Cronus and Rhea. He rules over the ocean, and is the middle child to Cronus and Rhea. He is often depicted with a trident, his Roman name is Neptune.

Hades is the firstborn to Cronus and Rhea. He rules over the underworld, and is depicted with a bident, aka two pronged trident, Cerberus the three headed dog(occasionally with fifty heads in some myths), and the helm of darkness/invisibility. His Roman name is Pluto.
