The plan was going smoothly so far, Nathan had retrieved the history of the experiments conducted on innocents, and had just finished unlocking the cell doors and shutting down the security cameras.
It was all going according to plan, until.....
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" a voice yelled out.
"God dammit..." Nathan muttered, turning around, knowing that he had been caught red-handed.
he tried to fight the security and enforcers that surrounded him, shooting, stabbing, and even using fisticuffs; but it was no use as he was grappled by guards.
It all happened so fast, the last chance Nathan had was to fight his way out...
and he couldn't even do that, as he felt a slight prick in his neck. he had been injected with something...
and then, asleep he went....
-
the next thing he awoke to was the cold winter ground, his hands were tied behind his back, and a strong pain resided in one of his legs; his aching head spun as the tranquilizer wore off, he looked down to see one of his legs now bloody. "well, it looks like the blabbermouth's awake."
It was the head scientist of the lab.
"So, looks like I caught the little WEASEL who tried to tell the world about what I do, huh?"
Nathan tried to speak, but his speech was impeded by the gag tied tight around his mouth. "don't even try lying to me, you FINK, you know what you did...." Dr. Wyre hissed. "and I know how to deal with people like you...." he said, pulling out a pistol and aiming it at Nathan's head. "Farewell, you Informer......"he hissed...
and then....
* B A N G ! *
-
Nathan laid on the snowy ground; bloody and presumed dead, the guards dragged his body to a shallow grave, tossing him in and hastily covering it with dirt and snow.....
and there the whistleblower was left to die....but was fortunate as to not meet his demise....
