Y/n was standing by papyrus in some random clothes he just picked up.

Papyrus wore his royal guard armor as always, along with his scarf and a brand new golden heart locket he hadn't seen till just now.

Y/n: So, is your magic, like, a part of you or something?

Papyrus stopped fiddling with his scarf and slowly looked over at y/n.

Papyrus: What did you just ask me?

Y/n: I'm bored as hell papyrus! Why did you call me out here?

Papyrus quickly straightened his posture before he pulled out a Golden Heart locket.

Papyrus: Frisk asked me to give this to you. Something about a "Token of trust". He gave everyone in the royal guard one. Or, all of his friends.

Y/n reached out and grabbed the locket's chain and then grabbed the pedant.

Papyrus: He even gave the entire royal family one! They've all seen fit to wear it.

Y/n found that he could open the small locket and found a Drawing of him smiling holding up Frisk On his shoulder, also with a smile. A word had been made above the drawing that said " TRUST".

Y/n: Huh...

Papyrus: Yeah... I do wonder where he got the lockets from though.

Y/n just shrugged before he closed the locket and put it on.

Y/n: I don't know either. But these lockets look valuable. Must of cost a lot of something to get.

Y/n looked up at Papyrus and smiled as he stretched his back.

Y/n: When I see frisk, I'll have to ask how much he bought them for so I can pay him back. Later papyrus!

Papyrus nods his head as he goes back to fiddling with his scarf.

Papyrus: Stupid fuckin...

He muttered as he fumbled with it a little more.

"Trust"? That is not something you have really earned. Is it Experiment?  Using It to get what you want. What would happen if It ever found out? Being used like that? But I am no better, am I? I've used THEM for many things. I guess we share more than a soul, experiment.

Y/n is seen sitting in his shop behind the counter, the locket glowing a beautiful golden color.
