when i got home i made myself a sandwich. i went and sat on the couch and grabbed a book. i love reading, i don't like school but i love to read. i only read romance novels and nonfiction horror typa love books. im a big fan of drama too. highschool to be exact. but i sit there and get through the first 47 pages. then i fell asleep.

it was friday, the last day of school before summer. thank the lord. of course i'm happy. im done with highschool after this year. i wasn't really mad at eddie anymore, maybe i overreacted on the situation with rachel.

i finally got to school, i couldn't pick up nancy today because she rode with jonathan, and i haven't talked to eddie. robin isn't in school anymore, and the kids go to a completely different school because they're younger than us. i walk to my locker, still no sight of any of my friends. as i walk into my first class (world history) i see steve. finally someone i can talk to. i go sit in my seat, which is right infront of him, and turn around and sigh.

"damn, what's up with you caldwell?" he asks me.

"nancy rode with jonathan today so i couldn't drive her to school and walk in with her, eddies probably mad at me for standing up to this blonde girl for trying to ask him out. so now i'm pretty sure i have nobody to hang out with today." i say without taking a breath.

"oh. um then it might not be the right time to tell you this but.. you may want to turn around and look outside the windows of the class." steve says with a worried look.

i turn around and once i see what my eyes just got placed on, i felt a gut feelings in my stomach and a knot in my throat. i get up out of my seat with tears filling my eyes. steve gets up behind me and walks with me to the door of the classroom.

"eddie...? i say whilst standing in the doorway of the classroom with steve.

eddie was with rachel infront of the lockers, making out.

"cayley! oh my god! it's not what it looks like, i swear! please let me explain!" eddie says quickly stopping his make out sesh with rachel.

"yes it is eddie. is this why you got mad at me for telling her no? you were gonna say yes." i say with a single tear rolling down my cheek.

"he told me he doesn't care about you and that's why he had this secret affair thing going on with me" rachel says.

"shut the fuck up you blonde bitch." i say with anger.

"and eddie... we're done."

"cayley please!" he tried to stop me but i walk away crying

steve follows me as i walk out of the school, he grabs my hand and i turn around to him.

"what steve. im really not in the mood" i say pulling my hand away and turning around.

"cayley i am so sorry that happened to you. you did not deserve that. you deserve way more than eddie. you're so bea- i mean you're so much better than he is and you can find someone better!" he says to me trying to make me feel better.

"obviously not! you've seen me and you've seen rachel! there's a reason he cheated on me for her!" i say. steve actually let me go this time. part of me wanted to stay and the other part told me to leave.

                            7:00pm
ive been crying all day. i got home like 6 hours ago and i've just laid in bed and cried. i hear a knock on my front door. i didn't have the motivation to get up so i told them to go away. but they didn't listen. i had no idea who it was but i didn't care. as long as it wasn't eddie im fine with it.

"hey cayley.." nancy says while walking in. she has robin, jonathan, and lastly, steve behind her.

"hi.." i say while smiling but i started crying again.
"cayleyyy.. aww baby it's okay!" she says while hugging me as i cry into her shoulder.

"no it's not nancy. he.. he-"

"i know cayley. i know. don't force yourself to talk about it. steve told us what happened and we're here for you." she says whilst cupping my face and looking at me.

"promise?" i say as she lets go of my face.

"i promise cayley. we're always gonna be here for you. all of us." she says while looking at the three of them.

they all nod. i only look at steve. i mouth 'thank you' to him, because i know he brought them to me.
he nods again.

"come on." robin says.

"what?" i question

"we're going to a party! so you, me, and nancy are gonna go to her house and get ready, and jonathan and steve are gonna go do.. whatever they do." she says while smiling.

"i cant robin. i don't have the motivation to do anything." i say while laying back down. i close my eyes and everything goes silent. well for a really short amount of time.

i feel myself get lifted off of my bed. steve and jonathan picked me up at the same time bridal style and i scream really loud. robin and nancy are laughing at me.

"help me!" i yell at them, finally jonathan and steve put me down on the ground making me stand up.

"if i'm going to this party, you are too." jonathan says and i look at him.

i nod. "okay. fine."

"im driving so i'm staying sober." nancy says.

we all laugh and steve drives jonathan to wherever they're going and i drive us girls to nancy's house to get ready. i grab my silky dress and we drive to nancys.
