Stairway

Morning in the day I was walking through the forest with Ari cuz Summer was still sleeping.

"No way! The princess and the frog are back for round two", Griff said to us.
"Nah, we're just having a look", i replied and Griff walked away and stop in our back.
"Hey!", I shouted at Marlon.
"They wanted to know where Stairway was so...", he said.
"...so I didn't ask", i replied and Griff and the other boys start laughing, so I turned to them and they stopped but Griff winked at me and I start blush.
"So Anchor Cove let you in?", Ari ask Marlon.
"Not yet. They're still deciding. Is it working?", Marlon replied.
"Not yet, probably tomorrow after that low pressure system moves off", Ari replied and I was confused cuz I didn't know what they were talking about.
"Oi Gibson, last year when Marlon piked, did you get cooked doing the jump or out at the reef break?" Griff ask Ari.
"The reef but, I don't really remember", Ari said.
"Chill bro, let's keep going", Marlon said to Griff.
"You should come back tomorrow. See how it's meant to be done", Griff add.
"Oh please..", I mumbled.
"Bye princess and the frog", Griff said and they walk away.

"I still don't get why do you like him", Ari said to me.
"Who said that?", I ask him.
"It's a little bit obviously", Ari said
"You think?", i replied.
"See?", he said and laugh.

At Poppy's house.

"It's a local tradition. Stairway's pumping like once a year, so everyone gets obsessed over the big waves", Bodhi explained to us.
"Let's do it then. It can be my big send off", i replied.
"Any of you thinking of going up there you're barred from the Club all right. So just relax", Manu said.
"I can't believe you two are going back to NewYork in a week. Our lives are going to be so empty", Bodhi said .
"Especially for Griff", Poppy add.
"Shut up Poppy", I shouted.
"Hey you know it's true", Summer replied.
"Yea, you guys should come visit us in NewYork", i add.
"Yes, and then let's go to Hawaii", Poppy add.

The morning day I was walking in the garden  when I heard by mistake Ari's Mum.

"Hey, um, there's been a bit of development. Um, they want yo extent Margot's Middle East thing. So she's asked if Summer and Isa can stay with us a bit longer. About three months longer", I heard Abby said and I start jumping because I was going to spend more time here and maybe a chance to get to know Griff better and maybe to talk with him.

"Why are you so happy?", I heard Summer.
"Uh, ammm...", i mumbled cuz I knew she doesn't wanna stay here a longer time. "I win a phone game", i said and I taking my phone from back poket to make her thing I hide the phone at the back cuz I got scared.
"Oh cool", she said.

Later....

I was at Poppy's house and I heard the boys talking in the kitchen.

"Look, you're not actually thinking of surfing Sairway are you?", Ari ask Marlon.
"Best time for jump is 3pm. We're going to meet just before then", Marlon replied.
"You know Griff doesn't decide who gets in the Club. You have nothing to prove", Ari said.
"Easy for you to say. You're the guy who jumped", Marlon said.
"Look Mars, there's still a spot for you in Shorehaven. Just go to Manu and say, "Sorry, bro I was a bit of pelican", Ari replied.
"It's to late for that Gibson" Marlon said and come outside exactly e where I was and I got scared.
"Omg Isa, you're listening to our conversation?", Marlon ask me.
"No, I didn't", i mumbled.
"We said something about Griff?", Ari ask Marlon.
"Yes, that he doesn't decide who gets in the Club", i said by mistake.
"Yeah, you did", Marlon replied and smile.
"Fuck", I mumbled.
"Yo Ari, come on Manu says you're next up in the ice bath", Summer said.
"Could you please give us a second?", Ari said.
"What is going on? You Gibson have been acting super squarely", Summer ask.
"We're talking about surfing the Stairway", Marlon said.
"Ok, the dumbest idea on the planet", i said.
"No, no, no. We're not actually surfing Stairway", Ari add.
"Yeah, right. Exactly how many panic attacks do you want to have, Ari?", Summer ask.
"Oh no", i whispering.
"Panic attacks?", Marlon ask.
"Nothing, a stupid joke", Ari add.
"I'm sure you're parents will find it hilarious", Summer said and turned to walk away.
"Summer, stop", Ari shouted.
"No, I'm saving you from your own stupidity", She add.

"Ho wonder your mum doesn't want you back", Ari said walking after her.
"Awesome", i whispered.
"She still hasn't called you, has she?" Ari ask.
"Ari stop", I shouted.
"What are you talking about?", Summer ask.
"She's staying in the Middle East, and you are staying here, which is so grate for all of us", Ari said and I put my hand on my eyes and Summer run.
"Ari you can't shut up?", I ask him.
"Wait you know?", he ask.
"Yeah..., I heard your mum", i mumbled.
"So you are you listening all's conversation now? And why aren't you upset cuz you are not leaving, oh yeah cuz you have time now to flirt with Griff Temple right?", he shouted.
"Screw you", I shouted.
"Waitttt, you like Griff?", Marlon ask laughing.
"Not now Marlon", i said and I walk away angrily.

"Hey, Pops sorry to distract you", Ari said to Poppy who was in the ice bath.
"Please, distract me", Poppy add.
"When you get out. I kinda of staffed up with Isabella and Summer", he said and Poppy rolled her eyes.

Summer's POV.

She was called her mother.
"Summer! Summer I'm so glad you've called. I just got back from this hellish job and everything went wrong", Margot said.
"That's funny because I heard thing are going grate for you", Summer said and I walk towards her.
"Had Abbie explained everything?", Margot ask.
"Not really, no", Summer add.
"We'll my editors love what I've been doing and it seemed like things were going well for you over there, I tought you and Isa wouldn't mind staying an extra months", Margot said.
"Extra months? Well Isa doesn't mind cuz she like surfing but me?" Summer said looking at me.
"Sum, would you give me a break?" Margot said.
"Oh finally the truth", Summer said hangs up.
Then I hugged her and we run to the other.

"Hey Ari told us about the news", Poppy shouted.
"And he feels really bad for now it came out", Bodhi add.
"Yeah totally", Ari add.
"I'm sorry things still aren't good with your mum or whatever, but we're so, so stoked you're staying longer", Bodhi said.
"What if I don't want to stay any longer?" Did anyone think of that" Summer said.
"Kind of looked like you were having a good time", i add.
"Yeah, because I knew I was leaving!, even the most boring stinkhole in universe can be for fun five minutes", Summer said angrily.
"Okay, didn't realise it was go painful hanging out with us", Poppy said.
"Do the math Poppy, you're literally the only people in the town", Summer said and leave.
"Sorry guys just give her time, she's angry on her mother", i add.
