After we finished with the board we left to get a coffee to relax a little. I was now waiting for Bax to get his coffee and to actually get a walk around the lake.

"I feel bad for Summer, and the fact that no one believes her except me and Margot with the vandalism thing." I started to say so it wouldn't be that boring.

"You're not the only one." He came beside me and we start walking.

"Did Wren told you something?" I asked curious. Maybe se think that her brother it's a "she's my sister, I won't say a word" type of brother, but I don't think he is.

"She didn't have to. I know how she operates. Look, my little sis, she's intense." Bax said and I scoffed. She's not intense, she's insane.

"Yeah, I think I know that." I smiled looking at him.

"But it's not all her fault. You know, it's actually kind of mine." He said and I looked at him confused. How was it his fault?
"Alright, so last year at Nationals, I'm on Team Queensland, yep? And it all comes down to us and New South Wales. They chuck our gear up a tree to try and psych us out. Didn't work. We destroyed them on the water. And then we partied in front of their Boardriders clubhouse just to rub it in. And then um... someone dared me to set on fire to their team banner." He started to tell me the story and stolen my coffee because he finished his.

"And... no more clubhouse?" I asked him.

"Minor damage." He added and I stole my coffee back.

"So you're not a hardened criminal? So disappointing." I punched his shoulder and he pushed me away.

"So, eventually what made Wren pick up Summer like this anyway?" I asked him confused at the think he told me.

"Well, she was a pretty big deal up in Queensland as well. Then she shows up here, dropped here in Shorehaven, no friends, no mates- had to start from scratch. And she was making it work. With Goldilocks by her side. And then... you and Summer came back. I think she just feels threatened." Bax continued and stopped from walking.

"Of who? Summer?" I asked looking up at him.

"Yeah I guess so. But anyway, enough of Wren and me, know tell me about you and what made you come back from NewYork here with Summer."

"Oh well... kinda of a long story. I like here because it's more quite and not that many people around." I said looking around me.

"Drop that "long story" expression with me, I like to hear stories, and I'm pretty sure you didn't came back because it's quite. The first time I've heard about you was from the girls, they were talking about Summer with Wren, and they mentioned you too. They said something about you and Griff being a thing but I don't really remember." He asked ,now looking at the sky.

"Yeah... we were a thing but I don't have a word for that. The first time I came here I had a thing for Griff, and I mean I liked him a lot, but when I left for a whole year, we didn't really talked anymore and I guess he got over it because I saw him and Poppy kissing at the bonding party. So I don't know what to guess about this whole story with me and him." I took a deep breath at the end and looked back at him trying to guess his mind after his facial expression.

"And do you still like him?" Bax looked closer into my eyes.

"I guess? I really have to talk with him." I answered braking the eye contact.

"He is a jerk anyway for making a nice girl like you fell bad." He said as I looked back at him smiling.

"Yeah, I don't know." I chuckled.
